Letterman (who had more clout w/ Carson than Leno ever did, b/c Carson's company helped produce Letterman's former NBC show) got screwed by Leno and NBC and went to CBS. B/c of the way Letterman got shafted, Carson refused to appear on Leno's show. Flash-forward to 2010, same thing's happening all over again to Conan. NBC's stupidity caused Conan to leave NBC and now Conan's gone to TBS.

As Fred said on the wrap up show yesterday, it seems like no one major is aware that Jay Leno is not what many people believe him to be. And I respect that. I was taught in Christian school that jealousy leads you down a path of ruin, so Howard may want to be careful. I don't know if it's true, but if you get so consumed with jealousy, you feel the need to commit acts of murder. Howard has been careful, because his digs at his enemies in the past were often hilarious. But the outcome of this feud he has with Jay Leno will not end so well if he keeps things up the way he is.
