Such a thing can happen in the beginning: When one of the survivors hasn't left the saferoom when you die as infected, you return to spawn-mode immediately :)

i don't think this exploit is that bad. there were two people using it yesterday on bh and we still won by a lot (this is like the third time i've encounter this exploit). i just told my team to run through the map. i carry a shotty and clear the way and the other guy cover our back perfectly. we made to the safe room each time with 90% or more health w/o healing. the ai are pretty stupid and the hunters never catches up with you. it's when you try to kill them that's when you're screwed.

stupid noobs (Jean Mouloud and Jean *something*) did that on a Versus server, it killed the game : you can no longer spawn as a Boomer or a Smoker if there's already one. This dumbs players spawned all the special infected at last room, so survivors throwed a molotov and a pipebomb and won easily.

Needless to say that 2 Hunter against 4 survivors is impossible (especially on normal), because the 2 other dumbs were camping at the last room.

Unlike your console, zombies in the PC version can't hinder the survivers by blocking passages with props. And we get our updates for free.

This exploit is 100% possible on the 360 version.

You can also noclip and use godmode with no limits on the 360. And the infected can move props to block areas, while the human players cannot (This does not affect the PC version, as it's been patched.)

Good intentions but this was discovered on the Steam Forums a good Day before this was on, and i'm pretty sure they (Valve) pays attention to them pretty often, not to mention you can report bugs using L4D, or even VIA E-mail to support. and considering the amount of people who go on Youtube compared to L4D Steam forums, you just taught a whole bunch of people and spawned countless griefers a horrible thing. pub games are untouchable now because people are curious.

You shouldn't have to choose your team again. The code should make you rejoin the infected team immediately after spectate. Check your code and make sure there is no space in jointeam.

You'll get the respawn timer if there are only 3 AI special infected alive (including boomer and smoker.) You'll also get stuck waiting to spawn if there are 10 (or 12, if boomer and smoker died) AI hunters. I guess it's not 'unlimited' after all..
