  • Longest/best version and closest I think to the way she sang it in the studio--unlike the album version, it rhymes "if there's a cure for ME" with "if there's a remedy." This version was 1st released on the deluxe edition of the "diana" Chic album. Vince Aletti in "The Disco Files 1973-78" gives an on-the-spot report, 2/28/76--says DJs played the second half a couple of times during the evening, then when it got very late, played the whole thing and the crowds went wild. Best disco record ever..

  • chipsandadrink you might be able to get the vinyl on ebay but there is a 1976 album re release coming in feb on cd which has this on,good luck.

  • I had a love hangover for 10 minutes and 27 seconds..... I ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!!

  • miss diana ross, one word wow

  • this sex sound was inspired by the european duo georgio moroder/donna summer's "love to love you baby"

how many european musicians were hired to get this sound?

  • I love the beginning it's slow, sweet , sassy, and sexy and then that disco funk kicks in Love it!!

  • this is so good! where can you get this on vinyl?

  • @chipsandadrink1 You might try a good used vinyl record store. There was a record company called Disconet in the late 70's that got (probably by hook or crook) nearly impossibly rare disco recordings. This version was likely on one as I remember hearing this version at a disco back in '79. At the time I wondered why did Diana redo this song...lol...little did I know back then the true story of this song!

  • This is the version that should have been released originally. You fucked up Berry!

  • Who's doing the amazing background vocals for the amazing Ms. Ross on this? Valerie Simpson? She and Nick Ashford didn't produce this one for Diana, I don't think. So who's in the studio with Diana?

  • THIS IS THE VERSION<3<3<3

  • Only 12,205 views? WTH?????

  • This version and the 17 minute plus version of Love to Love You Baby may be the the greatest of all the disco era songs.
