FYI, ZGMF-X10A isn't the first Gundam to bear the name "Freedom", the first is actually a Neo American Mobile Fighter from G Gundam: 7th Fight (Manga featuring young Master Asia) GF7-023NA Gundam Freedom.

The railgun of the freedom actually looks the same as the destiny plasma gun...

The ORB murasame is the zeta mass produced

The Akatsuki has the same skeleton as the strike, it only with the shoulder pad longer

@Soul0605 get MG Destiny Extreme Blast if cheap or Infinite Justice or Strike Launcher/Sword. The Strike gundam in particular is one of the simplest yet most efficient MG designs, good set of hands for an MG, poses great, no problems with parts falling apart. love it. I reckon get Sword pack and put it on Freedom or Infinite Justice! itll look sick guaranteed. (non canon, but meh)

I can't help but say this but... the only difference between the 1/144- 1/100 scale to the 1/60 is that ALL FIVE FINGERS are fully articulated... Stick a middle finger to that !

I like the NG's head better, the yellow V-fins are longer and the face is sleeker while the MG's V-fins are shorter and the face is more round.

the new mg gundam models that come out with these kinds of large wings such as other gundam seed mg models are just to big and heavy and puts alot of stress on the back and legs to stay upright which can be a problem when posing as it might tip over, and that could be disasterous. I hope in the future MG will put METAL parts in the legs and hips for better stability like what they did with the RX-93v gundam and it is extremely helpful for a large gundam.

Finally, what i recommend for paint is Chaos black, mixed a little with grey (for black pieces). Standard Blue mixed with a little grey(for less shine, and a more realistic blue color). Red Gore(tinee bit of grey mixed). Grey, and tiny bit of white mixed. Plain old white, with a miniscule bit of grey, and finally... Gold(joints on strike are gold). All of these paint mixed with water. 80/20 ratio of water/paint.

not just paint, but i recommend STRIKE FREEDOM GUNDAM> First of all, it doesn't look like a fairy, second, well... IT LOOKS BETTER :). Full burst is pointless, same with extra finish ( if your going to do it right, and paint it).

talk about nerd voice... but i what recommend painting freedom MG, so far the only PG freedom i know of is only available in Japan, and is not the standard freedom. Instead of blue parts, they are gold... and i think it's around 500 bucks? not too sure... but the MG freedom definately needs painting... and decals.. first off painting it would be better because the standard blue is kinda bright and dark for me, and the white just... well, it sucks.. so, go out and paint it! :D

@archangeltemjin69 It's for more enthusiasts in the hobby. Its about 20-30$ more and you get gold plated parts for the joints , the parts that stick out. You get stupid plastic straws to 'hold' up the Dragoon bits that also come with boosting effects. When I mean 'hold' up I mean limp down like a flaccid dick. You also get clear figures of Kira and someone else. To be honest it isnt worth it. cont. in next post.

@archangeltemjin69 It isnt worth it. The "Full burst mode' effect where Strike Freedom fires all its weapons at once looks horrible on the FBM kit and isnt worth it. Remember how the dragoons would surround SF and fire? Well on the kit they limp underneath SF rather than around him, making it look ugly and dumb. If your gonna get a more expensive version, FOR SURE, Destiny Extreme Blast is much more worth it. Wing effects > Ugly limp penis straw 'full burst mode' effect. Avoid FBM, EBM is better
