  • hey man check my 1982 k5 blazer @ south padre island taking out the new chevys ( 1982 blazer taking out tywo new truck type that n tell me what u think .?

  • true, i see chevys at mud holes more then fords, one reason i think is the cost, ford are too expensive for most, parts wise.

Another thing i guess is a factor in my love of 70-79 fords, they came standard with, Dana 44s and Ford 9", C6 or T14 hooked to a Part time 205 T case.

    best part was i bolted in a 460 in my 78 bronco, C6, 205.

that proved to be one great package, for wheeling here in corpus on Padre Island natural sea shore. 60miles of sand, with power to spare. good times.

  • maybe thats why my 77 blazer always broke on me, i was never that easy on it.

as for my 78 ford bronco, i would thrash the hell out of it, never broke on me.

chevy had a 350 and my ford had a 460 i swapped in.

chevy GM400, broke seemed every time i would go mudding, rebuilt it 4times before i sold it.

the ford was a C6 being thrashed by my heavy foot and 35s with stock parts, never ever broke anything.

i have bad luck driving chevys.

    Nice ride though man.

  • @opossom1968 Its just your luck man, everyone breaks. But as for chevy not lasting ?? dont know about that, on of the most common rock crawlin mudder out there is the older chevys like mine. Because they are great priced they are great off road and strong and just more cost effective. Look at my mud drags videos all chevys, also look at my rock crawlin vids there either jeeps or chevy k5 blazers. And all the jeeps have chevy parts lol. I'm not saying ford is not bad ass cuz they are i love em.

  • @dbzgt545 what kinda gas mileage is she getting?

  • Don't realy know man, it a off road truck. don't have mile indicator, has a custom dash right now. Dont ever go pass 55, when it does go on the street. mostly a off road truck sorry man. If i had to guess i would say 8 - 10 mpg.

  • 93 chev mud said big block is alot more torque.

  • ahhh. ok lol yeppers, and more expensive, i can build a 383 strocker and be alot more happy with it.

  • tu che

  • yep,i would rather have the 383 Stroker in my Z71 than a 454.

  • sweet ride.

  • that jimmy was on craigslist i wanted to buy it

  • yeppers i had it for sale for awhile, but decided to keep it. =0)

  • if you look into mud tires

  • Comment removed

  • nice!

  • ha you want to know how you can tell if an 1970-1989 chevy is a 4x4?/// ummmm look for the solid axle up front?....LOL, BTW, sweet k5 man!

  • or see if it says k10 k20 k30 anything that has a k is 4x4. C10 c20 c30 are 2wd's mayybe that will help ya out, but for sure look under the front for a axle =0).

  • yeah, i was quoting someone from the first page of comments..... my reply starts after the ///.....i know c/k series, lol, sorry for any misunderstanding....

  • Nice Vid, just moved to Killeen and need to find some other trucks so I can make some videos with my 88 K-5 with 6" lift and 35's, anyone know any good spots?

  • is this private property or is it opened to any one we got a 95 tahoe that we want to take mudding but we dont know where any are

  • Badass K5,where is this mud hole at? Check out my vid, if you want to try a different mud hole let me know.Haven't seen anyone go threw this one yet.

  • yeah sure, this was at I-10 and utsa.

right now i got a 8" lift with boggers 39.5 18 r15 now, and swaping out my tranny. Sooo soon ill be ready for more mudd again bro. thanks man keep in touch

  • i'm putting in a dana 60 front to with 488 gears already gernaded 2 dana 44/should look into putting a big block in it got alot more torque

  • Just sold a gen v =0(.

gonna be setting up a 450hp small block.

just did it for the cost and weight im already to damn heavy. lol. Im running 4.88 right now gotten lucky with the 44.

  • alot more weight too

  • whats alot more weight too, sorry buddy i didnt get what you were writing too. =0)

  • the big block. heavier plug you'll have to get new accessories and stuff.

    i'd put a 388 in it with a Th400.

  • For now im just gonna stick with the 350 it running good, and diff swap in a th400 shoping for one. And also a dana 60 up front.

Actually do alot more rock crawling now, check out my page for newer vids thanks.

  • sounds good gotta smallblock in it

  • sounds good, but i want that lopy idle lol gonna be doing some heads and cam after the dana 60 swap =0). then it gonna sound like a bad ass. right now its a 355 with a rv cam

  • 67-72(round) have diff grills for the year made and 73-87(square) with diff grills for the year , Blazer & JIMMYS were built tell 91 square tho. =0)~ 88-98 chevy trucks have diff grills for the year also. =0) owe and crusher had 1ton upgrades

  • Ahhh this must be before the tailgate incident! 85k5 got a nice ride no doubt

  • My bad 85k5 has a white blazer. This is Crusher

  • ha you want to know how you can tell if an 1970-1989 chevy is a 4x4? look at the lugnut cover if its 4x4 it will be extended out. and the difference between a 1970's and 1980's chevy or gmc pickup is the taillights. 70's are round and 80's are square

  • Sweet blazer that's exactly how i want mine to look like. But i got alot more work to go to even get it there. My K5's name is Rudedawg lol.

  • cool, buddy have fun building =0)

  • Only place we had in texas at this time buddy. And my tires are designed for rocks not mudd, We were just out having a day in the only pit in San Antonio. There may have been other spots with some water in it put not deep and muddy like this.

  • yea, everyone tells me i need to wheel my bronco harder, but i just replaced the motor the front end and all my u joints, and i still beat the hell out of it, but i dont sink it down in places it doesnt need to be

  • haha make me look like a jackass why dont ya =]

  • na it all good, i know what your sayin tho, about peeps talkin smack. Like you said do you fix it, by the way were your ride, is what i say.

  • very nice truck, i hate how people who DONT have a rig there to drive always have something to say while recording.."go in the middle whats he doing" its easy for people to say things when they're not the ones fixin it eh?

  • yeah mee tooo... Funny tho My bro was driving and i was recording and said what he doing go in the middle lol =0) I wanted to see how it looked in the middle =0)

  • ight dont wanna rag on yea about your truck cause it is cool as shit but that is not a 6in lift, if it is it might also have a 3in body but both me and my frind have k5s and we both have 6in lifts and we fit 35s like ur fittin those 39.5s, awsome truck though looks more liek an 8in or maybe 10in judging by the arch in the front springs

  • Na i promise it only a 6" lift, with no bumper and trimed fenders and off set wheels it all works perfect. It is hard to see how much a cut out. Having no bumber makes it look way bigger. check out slow and contolled he has 42 and only 6" lift, stock rear spring 8in shackle up front. rear has shackle flip 4" with two inch body lift. = 6

  • thats just like my dads truck he has mickey thomsons and that fuck you cant get that stuck there will be a nuther one on here son

  • cool can't wait to see it
