  • beautiful :))

  • The best music is the music (for some reason) ignored by the wider world. Great song!

  • It's horrible that you do not like this

  • a beautiful harmonically symphony comforting the sensations ~~~

    thanks alot for this!!!

  • Well, this is acoustic but the band plays mostly with distortion, why call it an acoustic band?

  • Don't hate me for this, but, how can this be depressive black metal? Depressive yes, but black metal? I don't hear any distorsion or screaming

  • Beautiful...

  • Makes me think of "Histoire sans Paroles" by Harmonium, but in a different, darker way.

  • I love this song.Gris is really very good band♥

  • this song is the most beautiful thing ever created by a human being

  • great!!!

  • Can anyone suggest more "acoustic black metal" like this?

  • @9threalm The Kveldssanger album of Ulver.

  • @9threalm listen ''fen- the wind whispers of loss''

  • tout simplement magnifique *_*

  • dedicate this song to ""Jennifer "" my friend at Pete's coffee this sunday afternoon.

  • How the hell there is 2 fucking dislikes??? Some people can be awfully stupid.

  • How to rate it ? And moreover, how to comment it ? Gris is one of these band, which makes you feel so alive, that nothing else counts. It's very difficult to explain, and when you try to, especially to people who aren't in black/death metal, you look like a weirdo, an idiot. I hope you see what I'm talking about, and if you do, I love you. The same way I love this music. Keep true, keep alive.

  • this is pure deathclassic experimetal

  • @topvidzs

I don't understand your meaning-deathclassic experimental??? Wtf is that?

This is just a great acoustic track from a Black metal band, nothing more, nothing less, but this is still Black metal.

  • I'ts a Beautiful song... :3

  • Preciosa.

  • Very emotive sound !!!! I like i am a really sensitive person so this kind of song... omg men ... Perfect ! <3

  • Idk but gris other music is kinda stupid I just cnt find the beuty but this song is the best damn song ever!!!

  • Fantastic!

  • now i can die!!!!!after listening to this masterpiece!!!!! <3

  • Where I can find piano sheet music of this song?

  • Where I can find piano sheet music of this song?

  • Wow. Great composition. The violinist needs to work on his tone, but other than that, it's really amazing. I was wondering when someone would do acoustic black metal with strings involved.

  • @unblackcellofreak777

check out the german band "haggard" maybe it's what you're looking for. greetz

  • woaw...

    Vraiment très beau^^.

  • /love

  • Yes there is no doubt this is a masterpiece.. Music is returning to its glorious classical roots.. Oh and this really is black metal imo

  • @haribharadwaj1 Black metal, that is called black metal is not always nessercerily so.. for black metal that is black metal, let them, the hearer who has ears doth reap and sow.

  • These guys are quite talented.

And also fun that most people would think this has nothing to do with black metal.

  • Best!

  • Regardless of musical tastes, we can all agree that Gris, makes some of the most majestic, magical, amazing music ever.

    Il Etait une foret...

  • Actually, this is black metal without distortion. I have always said that black metal and classical music have a lot in common.

  • sa tue en criss ! ...

  • 3 idiots missed the "Like" button

  • This is the best track on the album in my opinion, which was some what of a surprise to me seeing as I much prefer Metal to Classical or whatever this would be categorised as. Not because the other tracks were bad, they were great, but this is even better. Some very good pictures used, btw.

I created the account just to comment on the "video".

Needed to express what I felt and congratulations to the creator.

    Splendid. Five stars!

One of the best things (pardon the word) that I watched / heard on youtube.

PS: Sorry for my English, I'm from Brazil.

  • inspiring..... to say the least.

  • This is one of the songs I always listen to when my soul disfiguredly hides in one of the gloomiest corners of the majestic hall we call existence... Full of emotion... Some parts of it have not once made me cry. Beautiful in its entireness

  • the thing i forget is which album is this off of....

  • When you listen to the whole album, this song feels like a relief after the depressing and haunting atmosphere of the first five songs. Overall a very powerful, emotional album.

  • This is so good. A perfect way to close such a great album. Very nice pictures you've uploaded too.

  • kellyesseling

  • Awsome^^!

  • It's a very deep song, with frequent theme variations, which inspires a lot of emotions. I like it so much :)

  • This song summons unimaginable emotions within me.

  • merci pour ce moment de paix

    mes respect du Québec !

switzerland look like similar to our place.

  • Is perfect, it embraces you, like someone seeing your eyes and telling you with music wich colors you see in the sky.

  • Well said :)

  • I don't find this music much depressive, even a bit joyful. Your pictures are beautiful, wish I had such nice subjects to shoot!

  • Beautiful music

    5/5

  • I do enjoy black metal, but I also very much enjoy this song...I would like to broaden my tastes outside of metal. If anyone could suggest to me a non metal band that sounds similar to this song I will be grateful!

  • @KeepinOnWYourself

    Try Chopin:)

    Or maybe Les Discrets...

  • @darkbaphomet666

Les Discrets are different, Les Discrets are shoegaze, but there's some similarities w Gris, i doubt :P

So, Gris are the best f'cking greater canadian black metal band !!!

    Hail GRIS !

  • @KeepinOnWYourself I recomend for you, Dead Can Dance

  • @KeepinOnWYourself

Might wanna look into post rock. Might be a good transition from metal do less distorted sounds like this one. Try listening to mono, russian cricles and red sparowes. Might spark your interest.

  • @KeepinOnWYourself or Yann Tiersen's personal work or his soundtracks of for exemple the movies 'Amélie' (le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulin) and 'Tabarly'

  • @KeepinOnWYourself The Cinematic Orchestra, DJ Krush, or Boards of Canada, more electronic ambience compared to this, but I still quite enjoy them, also Enya and Loreena McKennit have similar sounds as well with use of vocals.

  • @KeepinOnWYourself You should try Empyrium, if you have not.

  • @KeepinOnWYourself

    Anathema (Violence)

    Ludovico Eunaudi (Primavera)

  • @KeepinOnWYourself Try Rob Costlow. He just plays beautiful instrumental songs like this one. Or just some Beethoven, Mozart, or Chopin's Sonate. Seek, they don't have any name, juste a number. I like the 6th of Beethoven.

  • @KeepinOnWYourself

    Definitally try Tenhi

  • omg he is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! LOVE HIM!!

  • i think it is abolutly beautifull.

  • A fantastic work of art. It's really beautiful and melancholic. It makes me to go inside of me.

And your photographies are really well done, I like them a lot. Congratulations, they are fantastic!

Could someone say me where I can find the sheets for this song? Thanks everybody.

    Gris is a great band!
