@gootenslog Thats something I will always remember. Some of the best welcome centers and rest stops I have come across along interstates in the USA have always been in the southeast part of the country. I remember a few years back driving thru Kentucky and Tennessee how impressed I was with some of the centers. Mississippi was no exception. I liked the free public WIFI in many places too. Really came in handy. Along with the coffee. :-)
mpd613.......My gg-grandfather also fought with the 42nd alabama infantry. He died in the vicksburg siege and is buried there in a marked grave. His name on his headstone is R.A. Mcdonald. He was in company K
