  • ...Choreographed distractions; debt, unemployment (business aspirations- not McJobs), parental-alienation, gangs, prison, drugs, and not least - self-hate "don't trust them niggers over there - watch?v=2jxtHzMOe1w"

The issues we need black power for (basically solidarity) are the very things keeping us apart, especially self-hate

We need to make these [toxic excretions of white supremacy] our core issues, which means actually engaging the underclass of our people with this concept of black power

  • black power disapeard from UK becasue all black people are on drugs or deal drugs. black power rules doesnt allow drugs, prostitution etc . but blacks from UK are losing the war to DRUGS!!! thats a shame BLack Power in UK can neva be REstored again ! we've lost!!!

  • @prettyjohnshill Why bring your negativity here! Black power has nothing to do with you. White supremacy planned our destruction. Who turned black men against black women. Who taught them to disrespect us. Who turned black people against each other. Who owns the councils/ governments. Who owns the media. Who destroyed/ robbed Africa. There's your white power and it's evil. So yes, it is our fault, because white supremacy set us up & we continue to fall into the trap.
  • Great video,

It's great to see the increase in brothas speaking up over here in the UK

Often when us females talk on these issues, some black people think that it is because we hate white people or are jealous of white women, when there is nothing to be jealous of.

Our young black males need to hear more conscious brothers speaking out.

    Black Salute!!!!

  • I am mixrace myself, and my girlfriend is even white, but black is still my ROOT as it is with all humanity. And I think that people like JOHN BROWN are a perfect example that you don't need to be black to fight for black liberation. BOB MARLEY who was mixrace and had mixrace children is another example. Also, truth has no colour , and the truth is that racism still exists everywhere. We need our OWN economic base to fund our own black operated organisations cos organizations need money. Also

  • I think the answers to the questions in this video lay in the fact that the black man has TREACHEROUSLY betrayed his own race by helping the powers that be bring down people like MARCUS GARVEY, MALCOLM X, BLACK PANTHERS,etc. Now we have allowed Hip Hop music to be infiltrated by fake rappers like Rick Ross to destroy the minds of the youth by making it ACCEPTABLE to sell drugs, kill each other, and live an immoral lifestyle. Black people globally need their OWN economy to create Jobs, housing, etc

  • @MyobuUzumaki Thanks for commenting fam. Yeah, I'm looking to start laying down some proper roots back home too.

  • Hey africanArise, really enjoy your videos. I do think the black power movement here has stalled, but i think all movements in the U.K. have stopped. Whats the music in the background I like it.

  • @ijeoma1992 Hey. Thanks man. The first song is Aswad - Warrior Charge, and the second one is a song by Dead Prez from their first album, I can't remember the name.

  • .b) What I mean to say is that black consciousness is not limited to the problems that black ppl experienced all over the world and trying to get over them. I think it is also shortsighted if we classify it as a movement.

  • @khufu65 "I think black consciousness is about uncovering the truth and not only the truth about how we get into the situation we are in today, but also the truth of life itself." Greetings bro. I'm with you there. Lately i've been spending some time really contemplating this very point - what is life, and what is it for.

  • a)First of all don’t take too much notations of my English since I don’t speak this language daily. This is an awesome vid brother. I think it is good if we figure out what we understand with black consciousness. I think black consciousness is about uncovering the truth and not only the truth about how we get into the situation we are in today, but also the truth of life itself.

  • GOOGLES LOOK UP (( NO MORE LIES POSITIVE MINDS )) ON YOUTUBE

    U.K REAL BLESSSSSSSSSSSSSS,,,,,,,,,

  • @HEAVENLYTRUTH1 Fam, I'm humbled that I've been able to make a positive contribution to you. The speaking (whether in word or in writing or any other form) is vital and shouldn't be disrpespected. It helps people to have a clear understanding of the world around us. We just need more people to put the understanding into practice. Lots of people probably are active on a quiet level (at home, work, etc) but we definitely need to increase the networking and organising. Peace bro

  • Dont forget black women are part of ....'the club' now .. the club being socially acceptale persons due to their own comprising (deriding black men, physical alternation to assimalte and the 'club' (people of any ethnic orgin other than black men) who are socially acceptable in the workplace so it is not in the blackwoman's interest to be a radical .. or speak on black issus of interest ..OUT

  • @klept0brainac

Are you aware of the planned Black gender wars. Black women didn't set out to trample on black men. We were set up by white women, who led black women into trusting them (as women) and mistrusting their own black men. All while she was creeping into the black mans bed.

As a race, we need to start looking into how & why we came to this point. This didn't just happen overnight

    Black Gender wars-

    Black against black-

    Inter-racial dating-

Non of these big issues are coincidental.

  • oh one final final point, idiosyncractic black female behaviour, due to UK matrichal black female structure, power is given to them but high black male unemployment rates and a enabling black man culture so they have a main say in black male affairs (also look at traditonal West Indian culture, man works woman spends wage) .. problem is with the exception of dominant black men void of enablism etc,. It becomes the norm and these factors hinder progress. Dont forget black women are part of ....

  • (final point) ... so what is the solution, cant see one in the near future, passive submissive WEAK with no sense of revolt in them, other racial relgion factors have some sense of core wing, reactionary arm, ideology but here we have none and WE NEED IT THE MOST.

Excellent video brother, you are contributing for that I salute you

  • @klept0brainac Thanks for the input bro. You made some really excellent points that pretty-much hit the nail rights on the head. I'll be re-reading them a few times. Have you ever thought of making videos yourself? You should do.

  • @AfricansArise

Thanks bro, to be honest a lot has been covered on here and you guys are doing a great job so I'll leave the video making up to you guys

    stay blessed

  • I'll add a J) lack of real black leadership .. if you was about in the UK 90's you had brothers that were clued up and had that aspiration, it was a different vibe but the general mood was or we were coceried to believe, 'black conscisouness is a black american thing not for us here' (reality was needed here more than there), those first born here took and on board seeking weak alternatives which ultimatly led to them playing and 'having to play the game' to get by ,, what you see now ....

  • g(contd) black men DNA stats, car registration police devices, you leave your house cameras, get on trains cameras, streets camaras, everywhere you got is monitiored no need to beat blacks up no-more, can affotd to say we all friends no racism on surface,h) blacks in charge of other coutries but puppeters and depends on overeas aid resources as we know

and finally i) black consciouness weak .. men talk development cant even hold women accountable

  • white who grouped blacks and left wing together, to but blackness in right wing middle class consciouness is not to their detriment, thye grouped black and left wing together, here YOU and your theories have be derailed, a black conservatism aligned with white left doctrine make sense (think about it son), f) Soviet communism failed hence not seen as a alternative, g) Government, police backed off but still in control, step out your house your the most monitored, check black men and DNA

  • c) with black people here a lot of it is all talk, as you have now seen a lot of black consciousness is empty, at best you know where your coming from know the social economics and thats it. d) Big mistake black make here, by default we compare ourselves to others, we are NOT them, we dont have strong faith like racial faith groups, no ecomonic pool otr collectivly middle class, e) the left wing idelogy has disappeared and I agree may return BUT you have to be made aware it was middle class>

  • excellent video, just a few points generally agree thou ... do consider and I'm sure will agree on a few things, you may disagree but life experience, research evalution will reveal

    a) we may all be black but there are different sect, type of african and generally different type of black man, probably the most diverse type of man out there, cant pigeon hole black men. b) the black mentality in the UK is to go white there is a white is right in the psyche

  • @HEAVENLYTRUTH1 Thanks for the support fam

  • wots good bro, its time for revolutionary evolution, we know the obstacles so now we need to unite and put the work in, i'm ready and i got some ideas so holler at me.

  • very good sir - - i am in the east Midlands - having been an activist for twenty years i would advise that you don't lose faith in your people. It has always been the case that it has come down to a small minority of people that are active, who are able to translate the theory into a coherent plan and direct action. Pray to your creator for guidance and wisdom, pour libation and honour your ancestors and they will come and guide your in your struggle for justice.

  • LOL spending money with non-black businesses and then having kids with non-black people is what happend 2 black power in the UK lol

  • @blackPowerStick.. I agree, I just keep myself to myself! Blacks in UK don't stick with each other like those in the USA. They still have that pimping atitude that made them sell their brothers and sisters as slaves. I am telling you that the blacks have done more to me than white people. Blacks don't like to see others strive to the top! They will pull you down. The black dudes will encourage the white chicks and put down the black ones!!!

  • @love83forever

thats why People like me you Africansarise are now gona be apart of the different breed of UK_BLACKFOLKS

  • I have given up on the black people in the UK. I use to run up and down with them all the time trying to encourage them- what a waste of time and energy! No matter how I give to them and teach them how to share amongst themselves. They are so selfish; as long as white people aint attacking them they don't want to do anything together. They will take and take and take but never give! What do you do when the water well runs dry? You find another drinking pot. As they don't give back.

  • @love83forever

I agree with you thats why iam looking at black economic direction

  • I agree with most of your analysis but you leave out an important battle which will engage all our people Economic Development. Funny enough most of our youth talk about making "P's" which is correct at this stage of our development. The problem being our youth act as individuals so can not have the desired impact. Also ideologically and politically run institutions can not translate in to viable economic wealth creating institutions because our leadership is not prepared.

  • @ielliot Yep, I cosign that. Actually, from what i've seen, one of the failings of our political organisations in the past is that they have kind of ignored the need to generate streams of income. This is something that we definitely need to address in order to move forward.

  • agree with every word I began my afrikan journey of enlightenment just over a year ago and have attended a few workshops/events etc and found them such wonderful environments to be a part of. I have learnt so much about myself as an Afrikan and about our history/heritage/culture and more. I knew beforehand that as a race we are just simple great! dispite all the negatives thats said, viewed and written about black people, we are awesome! but unfortunately many of us don't know or care to kknow

  • one of my favorites black cultures that ever came out of the uk , was the " lovers rock " era from 1979 till 1983........then you had greensleeves label too....

the black uk has a lot of culture outside their carrieban roots.....

    never give up!...

    intergration is thee enemy !

  • "why is there such a low political konsciousness among our people"

The answer rested with the Honoruable Marcus Mosiah Garvey...(paraphrasing) 'our people need a shock'. Brotha I know other brothas and sistahs in the [few number] you mention that's waiting for the better of the konscious kommunity sum to link up and get in the face of our people with a solution. Do you have one...if not I do.

I have to visit england anyway, so what's good.

  • Peace God. I must say that I have spent a little time the U.K.. The city that I visited was Brixton and it was way more unity in Brixton than here in the U.S.. I even thought about moving to Brixton and still think about it. We have the same problem here in the U.S.. It's a comfort that we have settled into, the human being has an ability to get use to anything. We have gotten use to mistreatment. It will take harsh shit to wake us up. Asante Brotha and HOTEP!!!

  • @screwface1011 Greeting brother. That's very interesting to hear your impressions. Brixton has been the heart of the African community here in the UK for several decades. It's probably our equivalent of Harlem. On some levels we have unity, but when it comes to more substantial, productive unity (i.e. supporting businesses, supporting organisations), things have flagged over the last few years.

  • im a black american supporting my black sisters & brothers in the uk!....

both black nations have no friends!

    black unity , world wide....

  • @MAJISTYGOD I agree that global unity is definitely needed between Africans worldwide

  • I LOVE this page!! Keep the momentum and keep the hope!!

  • @ThePanafrica Thanks for the positive feedback!

  • blacks do not care.

i can only describe it as stupidity, to believe your 3000+ year enemy is suddenly not trying to kill you.

  • teach!

  • yo my king unity is strength !!! I find that when the music was roots centered we meditated on our conditions and kingdoms (which are non existent) but as now when the slave master has the control of our music we loose our way so i am starting a revolution where we first take bk our music then rebuild our whole cultures and kingdoms via businesses etc and turn them into nations and kingdoms avoid of western influence!!

  • @zioncitizen1987 Yes brother. I want to make a video on how our music has changed over the past 20-30 years. I'm listening to the music on your page and I'm definitely linking what I'm hearing.

  • @zioncitizen1987 Excellent point. For the most part our music is dead. But ask yourself this: Why is our music and culture the most copied music in the world and at the same time we are the most hated? Peace

  • Excellent video.

apathy is a sickness given to us by the oppressor, but it's our fault for staying sick. here in the USA things are just as bad if not worse. young Africans are tricked into thinking that capitalism is their salvation. for some coming together is unheard of. I do think there is hope though.

  • @NubianTribesman There's definitely hope. The Internet can and should be used a lot more to help create movements and organisations. One of things I'm going to start trying to do is using youtube to make videos advertising upcoming events, rallies, etc. I also want to try and put up interviews with activists and more video footage of stuff that's going on in the community. One of our problems is that groups/organisations don't make enough use of multimedia.

  • keep preaching brother ;)

  • @ReligionFreeDeist Let me know if you do come. Would be good to meet up in person

  • You echoed my sentiments. There are some so-called conscious people who can quote you this author and that authour but when it comes down to the real nittty gritty they are suddenly silent - empty vessels make the loudest noise! Real struggle involves commitment and a whole lot of sacrifice which most people are unable to give. You have to be very patient when dealing with black people, especially knowing how brainwashed we are in the system of white supremacy.

  • @wisenatts I'm definitely having to learn patience. I'm glad I have forums like this I can vent from time to time!

  • Brilliant

  • Where I am in the states there is a GREAT SLEEP that i feel my brothers and sisters are in. They would much rather be a stereotype than there true selves. Im talking about black kids in college still trying to act hood and shit. Its depressing when i look around and there are no Huey P Newtons or Fred Hamptons or even ChucK D. Instead we have flavor flav and lil wayne.

  • @0Hater I remember having that same shock when I went to Uni (college). I was shocked at how materialistic and superficial the black student community seemed to be. And it was worse among those who had come to study from the motherland.

  • I understand your pain and I am over here in the States. Me and a fellow Brother were talking about the same thing. Over here in the States we have a bunch of Conscious Event Junkies who battle back and forth with other Organizations. Many of these so called Conscious Negroes look down on their fellow Brothers and Sisters who don't follow the ideology of their favorite Leader/Scholar.

  • @BIGBKELtheGOD I second what you say. The conscious community is not necessarily political nor do they get involved with political ideology. It is mostly cultural or social. We need a unifying theory to bring these forces together a sort of synthesis of culture, politics, economics and education. We have been sleep for 40 years like a rip vanwinkle due to Imperialistic COINTELPRO across the globe. I feel the mental shackles are falling off. the thing is we need to push this thing like never be4.

  • @kuongjah7 I forgot to mention COINTELPRO. I know that in the US, this has had a massive effect in defusing radical political movements amongst our people and pacifying the masses. I'm not sure how much of this has taken place in the UK. I don't think the state here has really seen us as much of a threat because we are in a tiny, tiny minority. But this will change if we make practical connections with our brothers and sisters across the world.

  • @BIGBKELtheGOD We definitely need to learn the lesson of strategic cooperation. I don't have to be a Muslim in order to work together with a Muslim to achieve a strategic end. It's not like business as usual has been doing us much good up to now! To be fair, we saw a little bit of this potential last year when a few groups worked together to help a Haitian charity respond to the earthquake.

  • if 4-5 millions people go out on a demo in one day the job cuts would will be cancelled..

    Power to the people
