May God give us discernment to know the difference between giftings and the true Annointing. Gifts only go so far it is the Holy Spirit we need in our lives. Further being full of the Holy Spirit is the easiest way to discern between the flesh and the Spirit. We are living in dangerous times when there are false teachers and prophets entering into the Body of Christ to cause many to stumble and fall. We must be full of the Holy Spirit and learn to test every spirit. Take no spirit for granted.

Paul speaks of prophecy as being one of the gifts of the SPIRIT. You need to ask the TRUE HOLY SPIRIT to help you understand His ways better. This is something that should be going on all the time in our churches.

Although it's not that difficult to see that God would reveal things to different prophets, and would give them the word of knowledge in order that that person may be edified. As a matter of fact, paul tells us to desire the spirit of prophecy so that we may edify, give comfort, & to extort. (1 Cor.14:3) However, if I have misconstrued your point, I do humbly apologize.
