I'm looking forward to the studio version of Tom Tom more, but at least Astral Planes will bring some loud rock to the table. Billy's guitar solo in Song For A Son is my favorite Teargarden studio moment so far - adding similar shredding moments to this song would help break up the repetition.

I think the little drummer boy has a bit of talent. This song should be bad ass when it's fully produced. In the whole scope of things......it's only song #4. A shit load of time to go, but I remember when MCIS was released and I was like "holy shit. Way too many songs on one album." Billy knows what he's doing and if he doesn't then I'm glad he tried something different. At least bring Iha back.

yeah. the first one is 'A Stitch in Time', but it's hard to hear Linda's backs and I think that's a very good thing.

about the song.. I don't know. it's too simple musically, and the lyrics are almost the same. tho they are pretty catchy.. but Billy can do su much better. Still, waiting for the studio version to come out.

I can't say exactly why, but the feel of this song reminds me of 'The Boy.' Which is weird, considering that song was an Iha composition.

Um.. but this song is literally six words long... with probably the most incredibly simple generic monotonous guitar riff. It's the same lame song writing I've heard from G.L.O.W., FOL and Come on let's go.. Billy should take a lot more time on his songs than 15 freakin minutes.. I'm sorry, but he's not that great even though he probably really thinks he is.

well, maybe you are right. I agree about the riff part. In my opion, from all the tracks of Spirits in the Sky tour, this one is worst. Its good, that he released 'A Song for a Son' in the first place, and not this track. But maybe studio version will be better.
