Hey that's very amazing. Why do you make animatic for your animations? is that required in Animation Mentor?

@kianism Thanks for the comment. Glad you like it. A 2d animated test It's not required. But planning/sketching your ideas are required.

really great job man!!! Did you have previous experience before going to AM? I just got accepted and am very excited. I really like your planning before going in to animate. Did they teach you that? I know planning is one of the most essential steps to creating great animation, and I want to learn the proper way, ALL OF IT!!!

@jadeinshades Thanks glad you like it :) I did some Jason Ryan tutorials previous to starting at AM. But other than that I didnt have any experience. they teach you some planning but I do and extra planning step where I make a 2d test in a program called flipbook to test the performance and have a precise plan before starting the big fight with the 3d rigs.

@jadeinshades hey how much does it cost at AM?

@akshayde it's just under $20,000. It's an 18 month program, but I'm also taking the springboard class that will get me used to Maya. The springboard is only $500 for about 3 months, so that gives me time to save a little more before I start. Plus, I want to learn the RIGHT way, so I'm trying to make sure I learn all I can. No skipping steps. The school has loan options, but because it isn't accredited certain funding won't apply, such as FAFSA. Definitely worth checking out. I start tomorrow!!

@Dsus7 Hey you! Those sketches I did myself and scanned them in. Its a part of class 1 assignments all the way through to make sketches with characters where you pose the body to communicate certain moods and states of mind.
