  • cool

  • Thanks for sharinggg man, Windows 95 sure do hv its own good <3

  • I'm playing this game right now. Great childhood memory :)

  • It is truly amazing how I find this and see how many of you guys love this game as much as I did, it does bring so many memories and the soundtrack, truly awesome , they should really remake this game since it is awesome and the story line is so amazing as well. I am going to go play it now I still got the disk but it doesnt work anymore since it is old as hell but i still have it for good memory keeps, other than that fuck it i am going to download it lol

  • in the pc demo and on cdi he says: My name is Eloi and I'm old...

wonder why they took it out the Full version (cdi version v=GikeMZdbT0U)

  • Oh My God this brings back so many memories :) i locved this game. I still have it but i won't work on my computer :(

  • There's an extended intro on one video on youtube. INteresting, maybe they were different for sales to other countries

  • SO, let's get this straight: How do you spell the character's names? I thought it was:

Eloi, Dina, Mungo, Moorkus Rex and so forth. WHich of those are wrong, and which are right?

  • Good god, how horrible those early 3D games, even the pre-rendered or intro stuff, looks. A stiffness and artificiality that was an awkward bridge between the pixelated deliciousness of 8-16 bit era and the gorgeous photo-realistic stuff we have now.

  • @cuttock Imagine that without those games we wouldn't be where we are today, and where it will go from here.

  • @cuttock This late reply might be a bit irrelevant now, but I still feel I need to defend the old games. I think it's very unfair to mock the old games - they did what they could with what they had available. Even being able to create 3D at all was an amazing feat, and without their hard work and innovation you wouldn't ever see 'good' 3D today.

  • @MojoRisinist

I understand your point. But they are still butt-fugly. There's no denying that. It was, as I said, an awkward time for the transition from sprites to polygons. There is no fair or unfair. These ugly looking games and intros were important steps. They were needed. Like, adolescence is a vital step to manhood or womanhood.

  • Dios, que tiempos xDD.El vicio que le tenía yo a ese game xD

  • could almost be a creationist allegory if it weren't for the saving grace of the dinosaurs having their own god :)

really bittersweet ending too : /

  • LOL i remember this game well i was scared of the one part where dina's mate was shown bheaded but i finished it and got the bad ending and the good ending

  • I think I still have my copy around my house somewhere. Moorkus Rex was one of my fav villains.

"...My belly is your destination! BHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!"

  • I happen to have the original DOS CD tucked in my shelf. Brings back memories.

  • sweet glory this game is old! i still have it! my brother is trying to get me to install it on his XP, wish me luck before he blows up...

  • install "VDMsound". then right-click on the file "INSTDOS" on the cd-rom and "run with vdmsound"

  • the problem is,needs admin password, and also, school laptop... yeah, not working out.

  • Use DOSBox. Works on any computer.

  • you don't have to use dosbox. just download vdmsound. best programme ever. just run "instdos" with it

  • Are we ever getting a re-make of this? pleaseeeee

same story + new graphics would be awesome!

some of those oldies were creative before their time, and now they should be up there, updated!

  • oh yeah! but i asked virgin and cryo via e-mail...they don't want to make a second part of lost eden...i'm sorry abbout that

  • you can play it using DosBox. Google for it

  • Ignore me - you can download the tracks individually for free! <3

  • Dont register with the site the link takes you to.... unless of course you wish to give a donation

  • Great game, alongside Burn:Cycle as the CD-i's finest and one of the most underrated games of all time. Truly an experience.

  • I played the demo for this game when i was 9, and immediatly fell in love.... but my dad was a big meany and wouldnt buy it for me....grrrr.

I have been looking for the gae for the last year.... Where can i get it? can someone please message me if they know?

    THANKS!!!!!!!

  • with such environments and music together my body feels extremely ancient and lovely somehow. Hard to explain but the world now should follow more the good that happens in Lost Eden. And the bad that Adam and his friends are fighting.... anyways I would like to help people still to get the OST if they still don't have it. I will upload the tracks to gmail or any other account that shares files. People who want the soundtrack just send a pm on youtube and I'll all help you out! Have a nice day :)

  • The environments in this game make the player feel so much a part of the game it's surreal. The game itself is so ambient and abstract, i have not played a game of its calibur ever since. I would be much obliged to get the OST from ya however if you wouldn't mind, it's just so darn hard to find! Thanks again for all the help and what not

  • All the people who respond here owuld probably my greatest friends in real too ^^ As it seems we share the same kind of feelings for a game like this...

  • Also at Galbadia Hotel (free, direct d/ls). Google them.

  • You can find the mp3s in the game soudntrack section of KHinsider

  • This is one of my greatest games ever!! Lost Eden was so intensely beautifull!! Still I listen to the OST many times I got it already for a long time. Made by the great Stephane Picq. Also he made great soundtracks for Atlantis The Lost Tales together with Pierre Esteve. I must say their music is superb.

  • Here here! This truly was one of the greatest games ever made and it's so sad that it is so obscure and hard to find now. By the by, is there anyway I can get the soundtrack from this game from anywhere you know of? I have been scouring the net for quite some time to no avail. Any information you can give me on acquiring the music would be greatly appreciated

  • Holy Crap! This was my first cd game! Just hearing that great and very unique music brings back so many memories. I must of been abot 7 - 8 and since then iv played it through out the years :) And to this day, i still search the internet for the mp3's :(

  • This game was truly great. This was the game of my childhood. I was about 6 or 7 when i discovered it... good ol' time. OST is a Masterpiece. The ambiance and the graphics were PURE AWESOMENESS. You have to download this game.

  • oh yeah! shazia with her suspenders XD!

  • THere were a lot of boobs in this game.

  • This is one of the greatest games I've ever played, very atmospheric, very interesting, although a little bit too short.

The OST is a masterpiece too.

  • Still one of my favourit games. I can still get it to work! I have the MP3 files of Amazonia, Brontosaurier, Citadel of Knowledge, Aquasaurius and the Theme song. If anyone wants to have these MP3's (god, I love them), let me know!

  • I'd like some of them! I LOVED the music!

  • i would like them! Let me know.

  • I mean I would like the .mp3's if anyone knows where I can download them. Thanks.

  • ...i was about 10, too ;)

  • I downloaded this game on Emule (it's abandonware) and bought the soundtrack on CD at Shooting Star, the french record company that publishes it. I feel this one, Dune 1 (CD Version) and Atlantis 1: The Lost Tales are the best and most ambitiously artistic games Cryo has ever produced.

  • Haha I love this game!

  • What a wonderful old game, I loved the musical soundtrack to it too!
