  • goooo SOPHIA!!!

    goooo O'bama!!!

  • She is exploring the republican option to the people. She might buy into it, but she isn't forcing her views and i am pretty sure she is far from stupid. She is stood up there for what 3 minutes with no script to several hundred people and she isn't rabbling

I am from UK and one actress might not seem to matter to you, but Sophia speaks a lot of sense. I don't know whether Obama is brainwashing everybody, but dont come hard on Sophia she is a bright women and would support him if its right.

  • I'm a Republican for Obama. I believe Sophia Bush echoes the sentiment for change perfectly. Not only is she a gifted and talented female actor, she has the consciousness of the American soul to give such an educated address. Let's get it right America, and fulfill the promise of the American Dream! BARACK for President, JOE for VICE PRESIDENT!

  • I love her. Shes the person who inspires me the most x

  • good job we have celebritys around to tell us what to do with our votes..the beautifull people really are smart, we should do as they say

  • I adore Sophia Bush and I think it is very admirable what she is trying to do and Barack Obama is the change that America needs.

    Go Obama '08

  • I live in the UK and I know how people in the UK view the US. So Sophia does have a point in that people are kind of turned off mainly by the us government's actions. Probably most Americans are decent people. Your government is just kind off screwed up at the moment. But that will hopefully change (if),(when) Obama becomes president.

  • Haha... "He rocked my whole world." lol,i had to favorite it for that

  • Like I said before she's the typical hot as hell Hollywood starlet who unfortunately lacks common sense or even typical human brain activity. Barack Obama will enslave ALL HUMANS because his policies are George W. Bush's policies. Unfortunately the brainwashed masses have been sold a bill of goods by the mass media and so America will fall into the same trap that it always does.

  • it DOESNT

but when you see a respectable celebrity stand up and talk about her views to get people to vote, it shows how much she cares and appreciates our country and the people who make the decisions for the future of it.

you just misunderstood the message that Missindep was trying to get across.

    dumbass.

  • Her opinion is no more/less valid than anyone else.

  • Does that mean she can't tell her opinion? No!

USA is a free country. We all have the right to share our opinion and to accept other's or not. But you HAVE to respect every opinions.

If you don't care about her opinion, just stop watching, isn't complicated!

Personaly, I LOVE Sophia. She's one of the most implicated celebrity. And I care about what she has to say, it all makes sense to me. She's an eloquent speaker and has so much dignity and grace...

Can't understand how you can be so rude!

  • Does that mean I can't tell my opinion? No!

Can't understand how you cannot undertand that.

    BTW - What's an "implicated" celebrity? :)

  • "Who cares what she thinks?????" is not what I call an opinion!

Implicated... sorry, I meant involved.. I guess!

    French word is "impliqué"... :P

Now you all know my Engilsh is not perfect and my first language is French! :P haha

  • The definition of OPINION must also be something else in french. :)

I'm done with your silly little thread.

    Bye honey.

  • Obama has some MAJOR issues - as we are now finding out!!!!

  • that was rude other celebs wont take time out of partying to get people to vote .

  • she is so right! Obama really connects with people and i think he would do an amazing job and help fix or country. love sophia!

  • I am glad she put herself out there. I am from Canada and I am trying to keep up to date with the primaries. With what she said about health care, what she said about finally believing in someone. In my humble opinion, her speech was so true. It is simply amazing that spoke up. The fact that actors are aware of political matters is very likely to encourage their fans to get informed, and to make their own choice, not daddy's.

  • Please, what does she say after "I was lucky enough to be in France?"

  • She says that she learned a little french in school so she was able to communicate -not her exact same words-

  • Ohh ok thanks! ;)

  • we live in Belgium..and we wanna come to the states (legally)..but all the things mentioned are true... Belgium stands for good healthcare (legals and illegals) (doctors = about 20 dollars, hospital residents would be surprised to get a 500 dollar bill,.), schools here are not super expensive as in the US, The war in Iraq is questionable (seems like the president is a bit triggerhappy) and the image of the US has been severely damaged by some of the actions decided on in the past... sadly

  • I'm Canadian but I'm with my girl, Sophia. Barrack deserves to win. He will do great things for America. And Sophia's right USA is a powerful country but it is hated by most of the world (not me).

  • So Beautiful. Inside and out.

    Obama 08!

  • We are very cocky here even with terrorism threats we feel invinclble. I admire actors or anyone who opens themselves to the public regarding their personal views. Sophia Bush is a young, hopeful person and I think her speaking out is commendable. Of course not everyone will agree with her but at least she isn't hiding.

  • interesting, but the thing is obama has very little experience and though he is a very charismatic passionate speaker he has no ACTUAL detailed plans for anything.. he speaks in vague terms.

  • That's what a lotta people say but the thing that Obama wants to accomplish is to get a working coalition behind him by inspiring them and telling us that we as a nation can disagree without being disagreeable. There's 300 million people with tons of different viewpoints, but if we don't come together in a respectful manner then we'll never get anything done (a la Bush the past 7 years). Actually, Obama is very detailed about his plans. Go to his website and you can check them out.

  • What's more important, though, is to stop bickering about little things. I respect Hillary very much but she seems to be a bit divisive which is why Obama is attracting more Independents and Republicans.

  • shes amazzing. love her.

  • Everything she said was pretty great, untill she was like " what happened to our country" because there are soooo many people that come to out country because it is the best country in the world. Why do you think we have such a problem with immigrants! They all want to come here, so something tells me that our country is not a disapointment as she is saying.

  • ^^I hope you don't mind me responding, but I do agree, we may be the best in terms of the kinds of freedoms and rights we are granted in this country. However, we are way too cocky for our own good, and some day, that will bite us in the ass. People in this country are all about "me, me, me" that's all they care about. We've lost a lot of the kind of compassion that used to exist back during the days of Vietnam and such. We are a great country, but we could be so much better.

  • I always ask myself what is wrong with our country and it has nothing to do with immigrants. Our public education system is crap, we're in a war that doesn't involve us, our immigration is getting way out of hand not to mention all the schools shootings that just happened (Oxnard CA (hate crime), V.Tech, No. Illinois, Vegas. We're in the worst shape it's ever been and it's time for change.

  • Thank you! Everything you just mentioned disgusts me so much. Especially education...our students have some of the worst test scores in the world. I think we rank below the top 20. We definitely need a change.

  • i hate to say this but she right i was in france and someone said the same thing that they said to her

  • I know the USA are the most powerful country in the world, but there are countries in Europe that are much better organised, have public Healthcare, a better public education(people don't have to spend fortunes to go to college, etc)...

The USA should be a little more humble and recognise that they have no right to star a war in a country like Irak simply because Mr.Bush wants more petrol
