@Ruchsacksepp Yes, even though it's older, having manual controls kicks the butts off compact cameras. :) This camera is capable of great photography, I really recommend it. The zoom range is brilliant, and the solidity of the images and control you get over taking them is just awesome.

It should have come with a manual. I suggest you use it. :P

Just change the mode dial to movie mode. Simple.

When it comes to optical image stabilization, these Lumix cameras are at the head of the pack. It was wise for Panasonic to let the Germans (Leica) design their optics as well. My FZ-7 is very sturdy and well made..... considering the body is mostly plastic.
