I'm so jealous of you! I am studying Spanish right now, and I hope to learn Arabic soon. You sound like a really cool person and I was wondering how long it took you to learn Arabic? And did you learn in a classroom? Thanks:)
Thanks man!! I made some new arabic speaking friends so I'm trying to learn the language a little bit to make them feel welcome! Very helpful! Thank you!!
thank you so much for making these videos!!! I have been trying to learn using Rosetta stone and still am not getting it. There is no english translation in there what-so-ever!!! and understanding all the different ways to say one thing is difficult! I will subscribe to your channel today! Keep em' comming!!
wow I'm impressed with your pronunciation. It's easy to have good pronounciation when you grow up around arabs all around you but I've seen many english-native speakers really not getting how the letters are which in all honesty is really important such as a soft teh or a harder tah but good job! One thing that cracks me up, your tag "ibn al kelb" HAH
my head hurts from so much information but you were very informative and helpful thank you im gonna watch all your videos see if it helps my pronunciation !!
I want to learn arabic, because i want to join the Marine officers and i want to be able to communicate with locals in the middle east and make sure that they know we are there for them
Might be a bit stupid. But would all these phrases be understood in Afghanistan? Just north of Kabul if that matters region wise. I'm going to be there for a year or so and really want to be able to make "friends" and speak with them a little.
I am def not an expert on this, but I think, in Afghanistan, most peoplespeak Pashto or Dari. These are dialects of Persian/Farsi, so they're completely unrelated to Arabic (although they use similar scripts). That being said, I don't know if many Afghani's are educated in Arabic as a second language, but I think you would have better luck communicating with people by learning some basic Farsi.

I love your videos in Beauty category... Actually I don't get, what's the point of learning Arabic ! There are more useful languages to learn compare to Arabic :)
Thanks for doing this! I have a boyfriend from Saudi. Only learnt how to say hello in the first year that I;ve known him! The written alphabet seems difficult. Im much better with oral communcation than written, so thanks for doing this!
impressive :) for the record no one would giggle if you speak the proper arabic slang, true we don't use it, but in Lebanon or any other arabic country as soon as we hear someone speak proper arabic we know he or she is a foreigner, i must admit this is impressive for someone who isnt Arabic, these would be easily understood by arabs... Good job sir, if you ever need any help with more vocabs. msg me , i would be more than happy to help
Salaam! I study Arabic too =) go us. Your videos are good BUT you do have a tendency to drop the last vowel marker on some of your words. I had the same problem until I studied in the Mid. East (where I was corrected every.single.day. lol!) Please take my comment as constructive and keep it up!
awwwww you're doing so well.. it's cute to hear non-arabs speak in classical arabic.. a dialect that everyone here in the mid-east understands but never speaks except when teaching a class or in the news! as for me "ana min masr" :)
Sir, your video was extremely helpful with my relearning. I am a Lebanese American and I once went to Arabic school but dropped out when I was little, but now I have been studying to re-master my Arabic again and your video helped with the English spelling of the Arabic words. But I was surprised by your great pronunciation. I have been speaking and listening (But a majority of listening) to the Lebanese dialect of Arabic all my life. All and all, I understood your accent perfectly! Great Job!!
The way u say Ana Bi Khayr...and pronounce the KH is beautiful..looool...However its prenounced Kayfa Haa/Lu/ka....but ur prenouncing it as Haa/Luu/Ka...which means how r u...But ur VERY good....i am very impressed lol
@Saharaa21 Wow, thanks so much. I try hard to get the pronunciation down. I know I slipped on the haluka part..hehe. Thanks for your kind words and feedback :D
Thank you very much for making these videos. I have been trying to learn Arabic on my own for the past 6 months. My boyfriend is from Jordan and he helps me but needless to say he is not the best teacher although he is a good aid in my learning. He thought that you were Arabic because your pronunciation was so good when he heard you. It has been very helpful to learn from an English speaking guide as yourself. Thank you & please keep the videos coming!
@Mrsodasha That is an awesome story! I am so flattered that he found my pronunciation good. Thanks so much for watching. I am going to make a few more videos this week. Thanks for your feedback !! I really appreciate it :D
@Mrsodasha My fiance is lebanese... I understand a lot of arabic. all thanks to his mom because they speak arabic and i listen to arabic music....is good idea to review the basic look how they are prondounced... and when they are speaking it pay closely attention/// him to speak it to you but only one word of arabic per english sentece.. for example ( ahtini telefoni) give me the phone ... ( or he can always ask you thing such as how much? why? are you sure? these words everyday in arabic
@cutevwbug I studied mid-east policy in college and wanted to learn the language. I have always been super interested in linguistics, and I wanted to learn a non-traditional language and a new writing script. Thanks so much for watching!

You have a tendency to not pronounce the last vowel letter on masculine words. This is incorrect; you need to pronounce them for proper speaking.
