1. This is a team work game, lone-wolfing wont do shit.
2. Sorry no killstreaks, man up and fly that damn jet yourself.
3. Guns have realistic recoil, so dont exspect to do 360, backflip no-scopes.
4. Maps are HUGE, so plan on walking long distances at times.
5. Dont camp too long, that house wont be there forever

This is the first time I'm not buying a Call of Duty release. It was hard to finally accept it, but I'm tired of the bullshit. Just buying Battlefield 3 & Halo: CEA. They're going to be better, with better online support and faster patches, better dlc's, etc. Activision is a failure in terms of treating their consumers.

Since there are 3 different developers (Odd year- Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer | Even year- Treyarch) they just alternate. With that time, it's sad that they play it so safe, but completely understandable with the way people receive it. Their mentality isn't "we want to be as excellent as we can be", but more so "why strive to be more excellent when people already think we are?"

The first cod game I ever owned was mw2 and I didn't think it was a bad game. Yeah it had its flaws but most of those flaws were severely exaggerated by the community, primarily because the game was so close to perfect, but not quite there. Then black ops came out, and I could tell by the trailer it was the exact same thing so I skipped out and never played it. With mw3 coming out, I'll wait a few months to see what the community says. If my friends that play mw2 move to mw3, I'll get it.

Battlefield is better than CoD by far. It has better physics, better and more realistic gameplay, it has vehicles, it actually takes itself seriously and the devs try to make it better each time they make a new Battlefield game. Battlefield also has NO auto-aim/aim-assist.
If you want a really, really realistic game go for Arma or Red Orchestra. But these are PC exclusive. So if you're a console gamer, please get Battlefiled and stop supporting Activision and their CoD whoring.
Name one other game that's so hardcore with a more lasting appeal. These aren't just casuals. They know quality.
I've played multiple FPS's & for the most part I've wasted my time with them. Battlefield is the only other shooter that has a lasting appeal but it's still not as good as CoD.

BF3 fanboys make it sound like you press L1 and instantly snap on, but that isn't true. It does, however, slightly affect your reticule generally by tugging it towards a target. Want to see for yourself? Load up cod, do split screen, and try walking past an enemy. Watch your screen.

It's an improved MW2 engine - meaning that it's confirmed to look good, run smooth & have great hit detection.

MW2 Search & Destroy, Ground War & Hardcore modes keep the game everlasting for me. Best CoD this gen.
Halo 3 was another great online game that has endless replayibility.

I don't like CoD games myself but in all honesty, MW2 had a great campaign. Online was full of noobs and kids who can only piss you off and make you hate online gaming. I don't thnk MW3 will be as successful as the previous CoD titles because IW left. I wish any other shooter out there would sell more than CoD but there won't be, not even this year. BF3 online looks great, but story mode could be bad like BC2. Anyway, I'm gonna continue playing Socom 4 now.

This is the first time I'm not buying a Call of Duty release. It was hard to finally accept it, but I'm tired of the bullshit. Just buying Battlefield 3 & Halo: CEA. They're going to be better, with better online support and faster patches, better dlc's, etc. Activision is a failure in terms of treating their consumers.
Fuck that shit nigga. They made me pay pretty much 90$ for a mw3 beta (mw2 + dlc). Biggest mistake of my life and I'm not making it again.

@TheDarkVideos Believe it or now, they actually do take two years on each COD. Since there are 3 different developers (Odd year- Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer | Even year- Treyarch) they just alternate. With that time, it's sad that they play it so safe, but completely understandable with the way people receive it. Their mentality isn't "we want to be as excellent as we can be", but more so "why strive to be more excellent when people already think we are?"

The first cod game I ever owned was mw2 and I didn't think it was a bad game. Yeah it had its flaws but most of those flaws were severely exaggerated by the community, primarily because the game was so close to perfect, but not quite there. Then black ops came out, and I could tell by the trailer it was the exact same thing so I skipped out and never played it. With mw3 coming out, I'll wait a few months to see what the community says. If my friends that play mw2 move to mw3, I'll get it.

Battlefield is better than CoD by far. It has better physics, better and more realistic gameplay, it has vehicles, it actually takes itself seriously and the devs try to make it better each time they make a new Battlefield game. Battlefield also has NO auto-aim/aim-assist.
If you want a really, really realistic game go for Arma or Red Orchestra. But these are PC exclusive. So if you're a console gamer, please get Battlefiled and stop supporting Activision and their CoD whoring.

Name one other game that's so hardcore with a more lasting appeal. These aren't just casuals. They know quality.
I've played multiple FPS's & for the most part I've wasted my time with them. Battlefield is the only other shooter that has a lasting appeal but it's still not as good as CoD.

@freshbreath3 IMO MW2 > Bf:BC2. I actually sold Bf:BC2 because I'm just burnt out on it & unlike MW2 I couldn't see myself coming back to it. I probably would've sold it sooner had it not released the Vietnam thing. I put a lot of hours into that. Hated it on normal - hardcore is where it shined.

@foofan312 I see it all the time. Someone will be laying in the grass or they run by my sights and they tug in that direction. I frequently use it to find people I otherwise would not see. BF3 fanboys make it sound like you press L1 and instantly snap on, but that isn't true. It does, however, slightly affect your reticule generally by tugging it towards a target. Want to see for yourself? Load up cod, do split screen, and try walking past an enemy. Watch your screen.
