  • I can't even imagine the rush these women must be experiencing! WOW!! Just running in the Boston at all is a life goal of mine. I tried to take up running two years ago but had some unforeseen health issues that forced me to stop. Now I'm fully recovered and looking at my first 5k in May! Woo!

  • the american girl didn't want it

  • god im so tired of these non-africans front running, and looking like crap, kim smith looks like a mess, anorexic, flat feet, overall poor biomechanics...the africans are so smart, they are like silent assasins, they sit and then make a move when it actually counts

  • @silentboyfilms Kim Smith?

  • I don't know anything about running, but it really looks like she is running with a stick in her ass

  • I can't even imagine the amount of pain these athletes are feeling. I can't even run 10miles.

  • @eezenwa well if you keep running you will be able to run more than 10 miles, maybe even 26.

  • @maravilla1992 thank you. I am trying so hard to see if i can one day run it. currently i can only run 6 miles.

  • @eezenwa 2 years ago I was running 15 miles. I started running again, and i'm working my way up. I can run 7.5 miles after a 1hr lap swimming. If you have the opportunity to swim do it, because it will improve your running I guarantee you it will help.

  • @eezenwa try watching spirit of the marathon.

  • @silentboyfilms, well this is a marathon held in America and these days few American athletes win, so yeah, I can understand why everybody cheered louder in this one instance.

  • @TakeAShowerStinky A long tradition of civility doesn't mean that the occasional person isn't an ass - as you've proven in this thread.

In other news, Tonya Harding was a figure skater, not a runner.

  • @TakeAShowerStinky no matter what you say, you've already lost by having your name be "take a shower stinky."

  • Great race. Hey ESPN!!!!!!! put the race on your network so everyone can watch it!

  • @TakeAShowerStinky Distance runners have a long tradition of civility and good sportsmanship. There's no place for remarks like yours.

    Be decent, please.

  • @ricstewart dude, don't feed the troll. Its just here to get a reaction out of you.

  • @AjaPuppy. Don't slander my name by calling me a troll? I hate puppies too.

  • @ricstewart. That's not true. Remember, the black runner who refused to shake Jim Ryun's hand when he crushed him in the race? Remember Zola Budd? What about Tonya Harding?

  • Im a mid d runner I can't imagine going 2 hoes straight

  • @bmxphenom50 I ran a marathon recently. It was almost as hard as an 800 ;)

  • I wanted the American over the useless Kenyan. Oops. Obama didn't run the Boston Marathon!

  • @TakeAShowerStinky it was a fair race, what is wrong with you. not cool. obama has nothing to do with this and he is not kenyan, go be useless somewhere else. Thanks!

  • Why are they taking so long to help her up?..Good job,Kenya...!

  • @thuraku Let the woman recover a little will ya?

  • kim smith was using some new shoe from reebok. no wonder she got calf pains, reebok is absolute crap...

  • @musiclover5327 Hahaha!

  • wow...an american woman 2rd place... great job. she almost won the race....

  • cool

  • What a great finish!

  • First! I wish i could run like this my max is 4 miles!
