by the way.. Bit concerned about the mid controls though as im 5´11 tall.. and my knees felt a bit high. i havent driven it, so not sure. Whats your feedback on the mid controls? dealer said I can change it to forward controls before I get it delivered! thanks..D

Can't speak for the mids, but I have forwards on mine. The bike is phenomenal in every respect, but it is a bit hard to stretch out on the longer rides. If you are at or above my height (5'10''), I'd definitely recommend getting forwards.

Get foward controls, much more comfortable. I'm 5'-8" and have foward controls on my nightster.

Sweet bike! The olive/black was my first choice, but they only had a vivid black one when I got my Nightster. I have the Cycle Shack slip ons, but I'm thinking about getting some Short Shots. I have the stage 1 download and SE intake, do you know if the short shots reduce back pressure enough that I'd have to get a fuel pack or some other race tuner? Thanks.

I had back pressure problems... I was getting a popping sound when I let off the throttle. I installed Fuel Pack and I was still getting the popping sound. So I phoned Vance & Hines and talked to their tec guy.. All I had to do was change one of the codes in the Fuel Pack.
