You are right in a sense.. it is a collage of thought but the difference is when you become saved you now have the living Holy Spirit of God living inside you that will take these many images now and assort them in like a movie type of vision and will leave symbolic clues for a message specifically to yourself or for others but only those who have the Holy Spirit can get the true interpretation cause only God gives interpretations to spiritual dreams and visions.
