Wow this is amazing. It was this performance and a radio commercial that first got me interested in N2N. A year later and I've now seen it 13 times. A message to anyone wondering: This show is incredible, it NEVER get's old. I'm not gonna comment on the Tony's 'cause I haven't seen Billy Elliot (and don't really plan to), but I do wish N2N got more recognition in general, because it truly is ground-breaking. A show based on nothing else but real life.

@reedkutcher If you're asking if the story was inspired by something or if it was an adaption of a novel, play, etc... the answer is no. Next to Normal is completely, 100 percent original, unlike any other Broadway show I can think of.

As for BBAJ, I'd say, as much as it is satire, it's still based off of historical events (to my knowledge- I haven't seen it). And [Title of Show] is a spoof of musical theatre, specifically the creation process behind a Broaday show.

I saw the show again tonight, after having not seen it for more than a year, I had already seen it twice both times with the full original broadway cast, meaning Aaron Tveit, and J. Robert Spencer, and I have to say I like Brian D'arcy James more, but Kyle Dean Massey fell short for me. His acting was off, it wasn't as seductive, manipulating and conniving, it was more like an innocent teenaged boy which he isn't. He also wasn't as powerful as Aaron Tveit, this song wasn't as powerful with Kyle

I know Darcy oriinated the role but jimeny is J Robert Spencer brilliant. I haven't been impressed with what I have heard or seen Darcy do in this role. Spencer is so much more emotional and in this role that is SO needed. What a great show. I hope J Robert does the touring show with Alice.
