my constructive criticism is stop hitting those buttons so hard, it's easier to miss them like that and eventually they will loss connectivity and that's a real bummer.
You're switching between fast and slow on the 'rotary speed' without touching the button to do so, sometimes. Is your Electro modified or is there a second button for it?I'm planning on buying one btw.
the bass sounds too smooth for a Hammond. hmmm, not sure tho. have you ever played a hammond? How close does it sound. Is the organ better than the Native Instruments B4, in terms of sound)? anyway, THANKS for the video.
Great playing sir.. but question for the play impaired ( i think this is the word lol) does it have a transpose function so I could play a song on c and it would come out as F if I needed once I would know how to play the song on C and the singer on F I hope you understand what I mean. please let me know.. I really depend on that to buy me one of this awesome boards.
Keep in mind that Nord Electro 3 has C1 organ engine, so its organ is better than Nord Stage EX. Nord Stage EX now has string resonance on pianos, so the pianos will sound fuller than Nord Electro 3.
I prefer the better B3 modeling, so I prefer Nord Electro 3. Pianos are decent for me.
thnaks for putting my mind at easy regarding the speed & responsiveness of the drawbar leds. That was my only con in my decision to by the C1, not being able to play one
Thank you very much for these videos about the Nord Electro 3. I will get a Nord Stage (Classic 88) sunday, & I can't wait still touch the drawbars :D
NIce demo and playing, still have to say i miss the overdrive effect. Mabet it is in one of the other parts of your movie? well in that case i didnt find it yet :) Keep playing man.
Awesome job MathaeusBech. Well done! All of the organs sound really great, and thanks for some of the tips as well! Great Video and Demonstration! Great playing as well!
amazing!

It would hurt to play to have played more than a silly littel blues lick.

What's the thing you play right at the start of the video. You stop playing it at about 1:05

You're right, I have a Nord Clavia C1 myself and you can plug in a sustain pedal in the rotary speed control in the back. Forgotten about it :).

How are you flipping the Leslie effect on and off without hitting that button..while you are playing?
kevinashba 2 years ago
you can swicth with a pedal (footswitch)
zeromanzarek 2 years ago
It should be by a pedal
I like to set my sustain pedal for leslie control con organ sounds, since I dont use sustain with organs
WinterWineStudio 2 years ago
There's a rotor speaker pedal input or you can configure the sustain pedal to act as a switch for the leslie in the keyboard setup

I'm from Italy, and i wanna buy electro 3 soon.
Do you think it is a good product?
Do you like the pianos it can offer?
Thanks for an answer,
Michele

I think the Nord Stage has a more intuitive panel for the Organ.
