@eskimochild87 If you are a customer of T-Mobile US, Orange UK or Rogers Wireless in Canada, you can sign up for their wi-fi calling services, which are based on Kineto's Smart Wi-Fi technology.
Help! Is there an Android 2.3 version available? I just bought a Samsung Nexus S with T-Mobile service and I get no bars at my home. I can't believe there would be an announcement in October that T-Mobile would be putting this on their new Android offerings, and then not have it on an Android phone introduced in December! T-Mobile points me to Samsung. Samsung points me to T-Mobile. Does anyone have an answer??
@DaHaole Sorry you are getting frustrated and not getting an answer, however we can't really give you one. They won't comment on things until they are announced, and we can't tell you more. TMoNews.com is a great website that has breaking news and information about T-Mobile news, so check there.
@2000musicman We are using that phone internally for testing purposes, but T-Mobile has announced Wi-Fi Calling is available on the myTouch 4G, Motorola Defy, G2 and LG Optimus.
@GIXXER404 It depends on who your mobile operator is. In the US, for example, T-Mobile just announced today it's expanded Wi-Fi calling service on some Android phones. We offer our app through operators.
Thanks for interest @Vux911. It all depends on how the operator chooses to package the service. We sell to the operators, and they determine how to package it.
It's only available with bloody operator firmware though - at least in the UK. Would be very interested otherwise.

Does this use the person's cellular minutes? Or is it unlimited wi-fi calling?
