I personally think that The drs only have the knowllege to heal! Only God has the "Power" to heal! Now w/ that said, ""I am ProLife, only God can take my last breath away, not Humanity!" My soon 2 b 12 yr old son has been on a feeding tube sense birth. He eats orally as well. A feeding tube is a "form of life support" As long as my son needs his to survive, No man will make him take it out! Only God knows when & if that will be. We cont 2 pray for miracals every day! Never give up hope!

Anoxic brain injury is very horrible, but something that may improve slowly over time, it's not always a verdict of doom. Everyone alive deserves a fighting chance. Those who post cruel comments here need to experience this first hand with a loved one, then they'd understand (if there was a shred of patience inside of them). Maybe it's more selfish to just give up. Only real committed love has the necessary patience to endure this type of tragedy, a tragedy that can improve with time.

It is a waste of moneyto keep people alive because you are too selfish to say good bye. The world is over populated and has starving people in low income countries that could benefit more than the druggie woman they are pumping food and money into. This disgusting woman is doomed; why not use the resources on someone who could highly excel verses this woman who chose to abuse drugs.

@doggiemom144 maybe I did go a little too far talking about selfishness but I have seen alot in this world and I really think sometimes you need to say good bye... God wants us to respect our bodies in which is his temple... I just dont want our youth out there infected by evil people/spirits and doing drugs... I think you need to think about what kind of people live amongst us and pray that God will save you from your nieve nature. :)

Oh and btw....Yes, I have watched MANY people die this way...I have been around and worked in Nursing Homes all of my life (RN/business owner)...before I became a nurse my mother was the Administrator over 2 Nursing Homes for 36 years so I pretty much grew up in one so to be honest, I think I've seen more than most of this type of life and death. If it is meant for Lauren to die no amount of tubes can stop the Good Lord from taking her.
