  • yeah!

that's what was only defect in me.

    gud ideas .

  • Most people won't even think of practicing the front kick like that.

  • Some times unorthodox aproaches to training improve the technique.

  • Interesting, never would have thought of that.

  • You got it.

  • So this is all for the non-kicking leg?

  • Yes.

  • Should I have my hands in fists, when I do this?

  • If you want to.

  • good explanation!

  • Thank you for your comment.

  • Cool video. Thank you.

  • You got it.

  • What if I do this pushing a wall?

  • There will be nothing to give. It will be an isomatric contraction. If you have to do it this way, move your supporting foot forward and back a few inches to adjust for different distance.

  • Still using this. Thanks.

  • You are very welcome.

  • But great job with the video and explination its def a great guide for beginners, my friend couldnt never understand the concepts of momentum and the way certain techniques are done untill he saw your videos and tried for himself...now he wont stop bugging me about sparring lol. Keep up the good work

  • Thanks for the comment, Duragon.

  • i do TKD but i prefer to do the muay thai It follows the same steps as he describes above except for thrusting your arms somewhat behind you to give yourself a little bit more momentum while keeping your supporting leg bent when you step forward to thrust the kick out. my TKD front snap kick has never been able to do breaking techniques (basically board breaking) but i notice when i do the MT version i can kick threw a 2x4 pretty easily. But everyone has there own way to do it, so just a tip.

  • Push front kick can be snapped or just thrusted.

  • Usually thrusted, but can be snapped.

  • Thanks again for this front kick video.

  • You got it.

  • Cool, more front kick exercises.

  • Thank you for the comments.

  • Thank you.

  • You got it.

  • Good Stuff, Right On. Front Kick Rocks.

  • Someone like to throw front kicks lol

  • I will do this to better my front kick. Thanks!

  • Cool drill.

  • Thanks for the comment.

  • Are you sure the ball would not break? I like your videos and want to try it, but I don't want to break the ball.

  • Watch the video. Paul said it would not break.

  • If you sit on that ball, it should not break when you push it with your foot. There are different types of balls, the one I used is suited for this exercise.

  • I did this drill. Wow my hips are sore. You really know what you are talking about. I am going to get your DVD soon.

    Thanks Paul.

  • Thanks for your comment and support.

  • very nice.

i gotta get myself a ball and try that.

  • You'll feel it in the abductors of your supporting leg. Possibly in glutes, hamstrings and calves of your supporting leg as well.

  • I will incoperate this execise into my kick training. Thank you for showing it.

  • You got it.

  • Paul, you pick up on things and point, most people don't think about.

  • Keep em comming.
