I have it on The Four Seasons first album, 'Sherry and 11 others' LP from 1962, and also on their 'Girls, Girls, Girls, We Love Girls' LP from around 1964.
Listening to these early songs of Frankie & the rest of the Seasons they should have been re-released and I bet they would have charted higher the second time around. Alot of record companies do just that. When an artist hit's it big they go back and re-issue those lesser or unknown songs. Same as when an artist dies they scrown around looking for anything to push out to the adoring fans who can't seem to get enough of their heroes.
Cover of the classic of jesse belvin from 1956, I wonder in what year the four seasons recorded it, this style seems to me very old, maybe previous to their "cherry" hit
a nice album cut by the four seasons...one of the best....
