  • @SuperMegamario64 - I get all ROMs from Rombay, so go there (but it requires an account). I don't trust Romnation anyway.

  • also... Why are there guys with rifles in the ice age!?

  • Sid: Bitch, gimme that nut! *yoink*

    Nutty: O:<

  • Hm, at the least the graphics look unusually good for a pirate.

  • Sid in the pirated gameboy game looks like a deformed beaver.

  • why does he air hump when jumping???

  • Musics are from the game Kandume Monsters if you are wondering

  • Mediocre game, however you have to admit the gimmick of having to pick up an enemy and use it to do a double jump is probably more original and more clever than anything any the official Ice Age games came up with.

  • WHAT KIND OF PIECE OF !$#^ IS THIS. FIRST I SAW THE WHORL ICE AGE SERIES AND NOW This. At lease I Hope they don't put Rio From the creators of Ice Age on this. And also I apologizes to TheEsccapedBalloon on how It Iooked fun .

  • Still looks more fun then the official Ice Age 3 DS game..

  • Ice Age + Klonoa = This

  • Ignoring the game itself, the first stage's music is really kinda awesome.

For no absolute reason, but still.

  • Umm why the freak are there trees there if its the Ice Age?

  • gotta love that intro.

  • for save in this game,in the map press select.

  • if you get all the diamonds requised you get an extra life

  • Finally found the source of this game's music! It's a virtual pet game titled "Kandume Monster".

  • The jumping with the blocks reminds me of Klonoa.

  • Sid looks ugly in this game! And we thought he looked ugly enough in the movie?!

  • The graphics in the intro are superb! 3D in 8-bit for the win!

  • I think a lot of the graphics are stolen from 'Wario Land 4,' including the rocks...

  • @ 1:30: Apparently, Sid's Klonoa-fu doesn't work against the frog.

  • Nevermind, it did.

  • Klonoa-fu huh? You should copyright that.

  • How could I? Klonoa is a registered trademark of Bandai-Namco games. :)

  • You know, knowing how to play, it doesn't look like such a terrible game. Not very good, but not so bad. I actually like the "throw enemy to jump" mechanic, and if I was any good at making games, I'd make one around this.

  • Ever played any of the Klonoa platformers? There are your games.

  • Wasn't that the big key from Link to the Past?

  • omg the squirrel thing was there!

  • I actually beat this a while back. The ending was glitched; it faded in to a picture of a poorly drawn Stitch (no idea why he's there as he wasn't in Ice Age :P) and then it suddenly went back to the title screen.

  • Y'know, I bet this was a hack of a Lilo and Stitch game, going by that.

  • Have you got a video of it's ending though?

  • No, I didn't really see the point in recording it. Also, I'd have to play the whole game again to beat it. 14 levels long if I remember correctly, although I'm just going by the map screen. BTW, didn't Ice Age come out before Lilo and Stitch?

  • Yeah, Ice Age did release before Lilo and Stitch. And I think showing its ending would be worth doing, so that many people can laugh at the poorly-drawn Stitch :P

Maybe that's something SpaceNinja can do.

  • Well I would but the game goes back to the title screen immediately after the image fades in. I'm assuming it's an emulator glitch or something.

  • And I get stuck... in... the FIRST LEVEL!!! D:

(or is it Ice Age 2?)

  • There are small differences between the two versions of this game. This is "Ice Age 2" that you're seeing here. In "Ice Age 1", there's different music, hardly any sounds and you can't complete the first level, because the enemy at 2:47 isn't there for you to do a double-jump with.

And just in case you don't know to do it, grab the enemy, then jump twice.

  • Let's talk face to face ... in this game you are playing there live animals from the Ice Age and there are no penguins or polar bear or the big foot or hunters with rifles and there are no guns in this day and age that the animals from the Ice Age.

  • the sound effects sound like they were from pokemon

  • That song in the third level kinda sounds familiar, but I can't tell what the original song was...

  • it sounded to me like music from Link's Awakening heavily altered

  • One of the melodies sounds like the main motif from "For The Frog The Bell Tolls", which had the same composer as Link's Awakening. But oddly, the music isn't from either of those games.
