i want to buy a jackson to play progressive rock and hard rock like the 80´s i want a great clean tone too so this guitars stays in tune? and...how is about the sustain y think of buying a DK2s but i thing is very complicated to deal with it and i think i dont need so much sustain i don know so what do you recommend me is this guitar good with the sustain??? and between a fender strat american standard and this guitar what you prefer to play the genre that i said before?!?!! please help me!!

On the lower price points you'll get way more for your money. Personally I've never played a $2000++ guitar that actually played poorly

@RockGuitarDave why do you think so? just wondering. i'm a die-hard Ibanez fan but i've never really gotten to play a GOOD Jackson (just the cheap JS ones) so i wouldn't know. what are better about Jacksons in your opinion?

The pickups on this guitar suck. I had mine replaced with EMG 81 and 2 SA single coils and threw the duncans in the trash.
