It varies by con. Further Confusion allows attendees to be under 18, but I'm not sure if there's a minimum age. Check the web site for any cons you want to attend for their policies.
"All ages can attend, but this is a large convention and not specifically geared for very small children. ... 'Kit' (Kid In Tow) memberships for ages 0-12 are free. Kits must be accompanied by a registered adult at all times."
You should see the original footage I uploaded. Youtube still compresses the video even when you "watch in HD", so what you're seeing here isn't as good as what the camera captures.
I use the Canon HG20. It's an excellent camcorder for the price. About the only extra feature I wish it had was the option for center weighted metering which would give better results in certain lighting situations.
I figure that song would be easily recognizable. :-) John Philip Sousa composed The Liberty Bell March in 1893, though it is true that Monty Python's adoption of it as their theme song brought into the land of pop culture, which is why I chose to use it. All the music you hear in these parade videos are Sousa marches written around 100 years ago.
Oh, and camera whore? Isn't that the whole point of the fursuit parade? :-)
