Mr ames should have gone with them..Least in walnut grove he would have had a proper burial and good care from Dr. Baker. Beats being alone in that dust ball town he stayed behind in.
@1mnmfan Mr. Standish. Mrs. Olson can be a handful, but every now and then (and that was rare) she had her good moments. Mr. Standish on the other hand didn't care about anyone or anything other than himself, and he had shown and proven it in more ways than one.
@maggiemae1014 No I haven't read the books you mention but I am awaiting delivery of another one that was written by a husband and wife who were part of the crew that worked with Mike on LHOTP. Apparently they wanted people to know what a wonderful person and 'Boss' he was and all the fun they had while working on the series. It sounds fantastic and I can't wait for it to arrive!!!

I totally agree..the series is great..Have you read Melissa Gilbert's book and Alison Arngrims? They are great
