@L5940 I can understand you being uncomfortable. In Narnia, Aslan symbolizes Jesus Christ. Narnia represents the real spiritual world that governs the visible world. When I was fighting for myself to be healed of sin of homosexuality, the movie helped me to understand that no matter how dark the darkness is, that it is ultimately the illusion and for those who believe, it can be conquered by having faith in Jesus and His Love. He did it all and we who are in Him, we are kings and queens.

Ever since this movie came out, I became interested in reading all seven of the Narnia books. I like all of them, but LWW was my favorite out of all the books :)

Has anyone seen the actualy first movie of Narnia - the lion, the witch and the wardrobe. This is a remake of the first film. The first one had animated monsters, really posh kids, a better witch (no effence) and aslan looked like a giant puppet and his mouth moved with strings, the beavers were human sized and so was the wolf. Animations were terrible but yet it still was my fave film and version of it when i was little. Am i the only one who can remember?
@123Frithy Actually, that wasn't really a MOVIE, per-say, it was a TV production. THIS one is the movie; like made for theater release and what-not. But, yes, I know what you're talking about, I have seen that one as well. Personally, I prefer this one.
It makes me sad looking back on the awesomeness that was the first movie and seeing how quickly the franchise has fizzled out. I hope all the books are made into movies /=
The dates that the next Narnia films should've been released: PC: 2006, VDT: 2007, Silver Chair: 2008, The Magician's Nephew: 2009, The Horse and his Boy: 2010, The Last Battle: 2011 or 2012. If they had done the films like that every single year, we'd already be done with series by now and just in time for HP to finish. But no, they just had to wait 2 years later to do more :/ Or maybe they just want to be like HP and spend 10 years making the whole series lol.

@supernalyd3 I take it you never read the other books or saw the other movies after LWW? His character improves DRAMATICALLY after the first book in the series.
But, then, I never found him annoying, even when he was a brat whining for more "TURKISH delight" (there's no such thing, as far as I know, as "tuggish delight" LOL).
PS: it's "Edmund" not "Edmond".

Has anyone seen the actualy first movie of Narnia - the lion, the witch and the wardrobe. This is a remake of the first film. The first one had animated monsters, really posh kids, a better witch (no effence) and aslan looked like a giant puppet and his mouth moved with strings, the beavers were human sized and so was the wolf. Animations were terrible but yet it still was my fave film and version of it when i was little. Am i the only one who can remember?

@123Frithy Actually, that wasn't really a MOVIE, per-say, it was a TV production. THIS one is the movie; like made for theater release and what-not. But, yes, I know what you're talking about, I have seen that one as well. Personally, I prefer this one.

The dates that the next Narnia films should've been released: PC: 2006, VDT: 2007, Silver Chair: 2008, The Magician's Nephew: 2009, The Horse and his Boy: 2010, The Last Battle: 2011 or 2012. If they had done the films like that every single year, we'd already be done with series by now and just in time for HP to finish. But no, they just had to wait 2 years later to do more :/ Or maybe they just want to be like HP and spend 10 years making the whole series lol.

@jamerikan5689 Hey watch your language!! And FYI, the LOTR trilogy was made year after year non stop and those films looked more difficult to make than Narnia!! But they did it and they turned out beautifully and might I add that they became the third highest grossing films of all time!! So it is possible to make the movies "in 2 days"!! But for Narnia, I was just wishing that they had done each of the films year after year. Guess we can't all get what want :)

Aslan is a lion who can talk. Rumbleroar is a lion who can talk whos the headmaster of Pigfarts. This means Aslan is the headmaster of Pigfarts. Aslan lives in Narnia, so Pigfarts must be in Narnia. Pigfarts is also on Mars, therefore Narnia is on Mars.
