A lot of these videos don't do the amp justice. Terrible acoustics and recording quality, and sometimes the players didn't dial their settings in well. I haven't played mine next to a 6505+, but a Bugera 6260 is said to be a direct copy of the 5150's. In comparison I like my Spider Valve's tone much better.
I heard Alexander from the band EUTOPIA uses one of these when he practices. He still uses Engl amps on the road but he did say the spider valve was a good practice tool. ROCK ON!!
Mostly Valves last for 10 or 15 years, some might last forever , I don't know about this one , But it really depends on the maintenance you give to the amp.

wat difference would the be with a valve tube amp and non tube AMP?
guitarist6494 2 years ago
non tube sounds contained and plastic-ey. a tube amp sounds more resilient and fills the room/venue better

valves,tubes... they are the same thing right?
blackchidori34 2 years ago
@blackchidori34 Valves are smaller and are used in the preamp and tubes are bigger and produce the power for the power amp section of the head.

keeping your valves in for more than 2 years isn't smart anyways... sounds quality deteriorates even when you don't notice any change!
google is your friend on finding tips for valve amps
