There is a scripture that talks about a Bishop should be married to one wife in the last time i checked the wife was a female. Dont be fooled by title's either. I only have one question: If God wasn't happy with women in ministry roles, don't you think that God would have moved them off the scene? Like this woman said, "what is there to discuss?" God has moved plenty of people off the scene before so that His work could be accomplished. If He did it then, when He wasn't pleased, He'll do it now if He's displeased.

There is a scripture that talks about a Bishop should be married to one wife in the last time i checked the wife was a female. Dont be fooled by title's either. I would have the upmost respect for Evanglist Linda Travett but I wouldnt call her Bishop Linda Travett because I know what im taught. In even that women Apostle I dont think i could call a female a women Apostle

You know what.. the bottom Line is this. You say that God hasn't called Women to preach and you do not believe in them, So be it you dont have to listen to them... you've posted ur "srcips" and you have percieved them as you may.. However you have not shaken my faith and my beliefs that God can and will use whomever he wants to how ever he wants to.

Ppl hav 2 receive the holyghost 4 thmselves & it's the HG th@ convicts sin. So, if a believer has the HG then the HG wud convict them of sin committed. If they r or r not, th@ is b/t them & God. It's not our place TBURSEE to judge or convict ne1 4 nething. If u dont believe in women preaching then so be it. Just pray for those u think r in wrong, but do not judge them or belittle them for what they believe.

Please get a life, If women can be queens over kindgoms, mother you and teach you everything you know, be home makers, grandmothers and mothers raising families alone. They can be Bishops and Pastor. Go and sit in some school and learn more then what your pastor (uneducated) teaches u... God used a women to go and tell the 12 he had arising... Dogma and men dominated foolishness... A the reason God told the woman to go tll the disciples he had risen, is because they were hiding and she was the only one that knew where they were.

Oh my God, here we go again. Another black woman thinking that because she cant find a man worth a dam, God cant neither,so she has to get up and preach. There is no such thing as a female pastor/bishop. The word bishop and pastopr are bth masculine. They do not have a feminine form like the word prohphet does. Jeremiah 31:22 is not a scipture to justified a woman being a bishop no matter how you look at it you still have to go to 1 Timothy 3:1-5 nobody can change God's word just accept it.... THAT'S THE WORD....

@dion52491 i hate it also,but how are you going to explaine 1st timothy 3:1-14.......the bible clearly tells us that if a man desires the office of a bishop he must be the husband of one wife .a woman cannot be a husband.,how dare you take parts of the bible and turn it to fit your your life style?the bible is right and somebodys wrong,we are told in the bible not to add to or take away from the words of god.

Thank you sir for your response. Joel 2:28 reads, "And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh, and your sons and daughters shall prophesy..." The Greek word for Prophesy can be translated to proclaim to declare and to preach. We also see this verse is quoted by apostle Peter in the New Testament in Acts 2:17.
