Have you ever driven one,?because i have never found that problem,its a couple of hundred kilos lighter than the vw anyways,so it doesnt need torque,i mean it gets to 100 kph in 6.4 seconds,a 200hp scirocco or golf gti with a dsg does it in 7.1!and the manual does it in 7.3,thats a huge difference

I have a scirocco and and RX-8,the mazda is far far sharper to drive,much more communicative in the wheel and the gear shift is much nicer,much more feel in the pedals.VW is still a great car though,id fully recommend it to anybody who cant afford the mazda,especially as your lucky to get 20 mpg out of a rotary engine

I assume it's the same Candy White I have on my GTI. You're lucky. Did you test drive one? I'd like to know your opinion and how it compares to the GTI with the 200 hp engine if you driven the GTI.

i drove the 200bhp with DSG but unfortunately i was on 30mph roads so couldn't put my foot down :( no i haven't driven the gti i'm afraid holdemgti, i know one thing that the ride was very hard, even with the comfort setting, i was quite shocked how much harder it was when i pressed the sport button lol, but still i don't mind. yea i want it in candy white, looks best with that colour don't you think?
