I´m from Holland (the Netherlands) and I do think there are some massive shifts in the climate. Here it is getting dryer and at the same time the sealevel is rising because the icecaps on the poles are melting. But even if you are a sceptical. As far as I can see we have only one earth. I don´t think it is wise to gamble on the notion that our use of fossile fuels have no impact on the climat. Because if the gamble is wrong we are in a world of pain.

Gary Johnson answered alot smarter than perceived. He made the case that a lot more people die from malaria each year than global warming, yet it doesnt receive the same media attention. I can also tell you that for every dollar you spend on malaria vacine vs. global warming initative, you would save more lives. I was embarrased that people just laughed at him.
But I'm sure, since he is a republican, his policies probably suck.

Secondly, in August 2009 it came out in the news that there are over 31,000 scientists who've signed a petition rejecting the idea of man made global warming. Listen to the story from all sources.

my inclination would be to reject the question as having a faulty premise - the conservative/liberal establishment have done a lot more harm than good to this country, and "the people" on both sides have been robbed of having a say in government for at least the past half century.

Do your own mathematical models that include everything the experts have. The only sane rational response is an aggressive campaign against fossil fuels.

People really should've listened to what she was saying. Global Warming is the result of increased solar activity. It has happened before during the mid evil warming period 1100-1200. Long before we started burning fossil fuels. Research this it's important. The other planets in our solar system are warming as well, mars jupiter saturn. The increase in sun spots is what's causing the warming not CO2.

when i go running near a road when a car drives and i breath in i get light headed for a sec. when im driving to work and i see heavy traffic i wonder. if im in a small iowa town and there is this many cars then how much car exaust is being pumped into my air. why did they build my walmart 4 miles out? of course were effecting the environment but everyone wants the government to transition to electric for us. no good jobs are in town.
