  • @MyurenJ Just as Tamils and Muslims live harmoniously in Colombo and in other areas of the south (In colombo district,53% speak Tamil) Sinhalese have a right and will go to the NE.Before the war, there were 100,000 muslims and 30,000 sinhalese in Jaffna but they were driven out by LTTE.It is strange that you are not vocal about these muslim IDPs,who have been victims for 20 years. Why?

  • The war is over in Srilanka and Roshan I assure you that those sri lankan bastards will be charged or killed for the shit they did.

  • Its one year since the war has ended. Where are the Tamils? Still in camps. Many SL officials say it takes time to resettle everyone. Understandable. But what I don't understand is why building buddhist temples, army bases, govt offices and settling sinhalese people from the south into the north are given more importance. This clearly shows what the government is upto. If this continues I can assure you another bloody armed conflict is going arise whether the world likes it or not.

  • @MyurenJ Only 30,000 Tamils are in refugee camps but all of them have day passes and MoD clearance, they can leave when they want but their homeland was mined heavily by LTTE. I also have an issue with army bases.I think they must be phased out of the peninsula when the security is returning to normalcy. And the HSZones must be abolished. But govt. offices are a must to provide people services or otherwise they have to go to colombo or other regional centres.

  • @roshan2137 They have day passes but at night they all have to comeback to the hell hole. If they can go anywhere with day passes why not let them go and settle anywhere where they can go with the passes.

  • let the past was past.why tamils are still oppressed with miltary solution???Sri lankan government again ignoring tamils and refuse to ensure their rights and equality, and justifying the past rebelllion of tigers.especially the current government who very sharp to demolish tamils politically!!

  • @va12io

How can u leave the past? The atrocities committed by the LTTE will never be forgotten. The diaspora that funded the terror movement will carry guilt to their graves.

  • @roshan2137 ,

attrocities committed/commiting by SL army and government is numerous and very painful, how we can forget, how many war crimes, oppressions, robberies, kidnaps, rapes, land abductions, discriminating laws??STILL GOING ON IN NORTHEAST!tamils only know that pain,IF U SEE THE PAST,MORE LOST AND TRAGEDIES FOR TAMILS!

  • @va12io I agree with you that more loss has been to the tamil side. But why the hell did the LTTE fight hiding behind women and children knowing very well that people might die.And why the hell did the tamil diaspora fund a brutal terror outfit and a nonsensical war knowing very well you are going to loose!

  • @roshan2137

SL gov is the one who chased mediators, human rights to hide their war crimes in final battle.LTTE didnt hide behind woman and children. If they help to kill their own people, they are going get hatred of diasporas also they are one who going to loose their political power.LTTE didnt do terror to their own tamils as your interpretation, they only did to people who actively opposing tamil rights and cheating tamils!

  • @va12io

Roshan there is no valid proof that the LTTE used these people as human shields. Once you have proof of such incidents then talk.

  • @roshan2137

Whether your going to loose or win. Where there is injustice you have to show resistance. If you stay silent there will be more loss. Just think for a sec, if the LTTE and other movements didnt show resistance how would sri lanka be today. Surely there wouldnt be a trace of tamils anywhere on that island. They showed resistance that is why the world knows abt the situation and history of the island.

  • @roshan2137 The Sri Lankan government had a choice of arresting many Senior LTTE officials and cadres even Leader Prabhaharan. They could arrest these guys and charge them for all these crimes and punish them. But instead the government to the law into its own hands and killed them and justice is served. So there is no reason for anyone to say LTTE did that and this because your government killed them. SO YES YOU CAN LEAVE THE PAST. But now we have to charge the government for its crimes.

  • @MyurenJ In war,you dont have the opportunity to arrest everyone. If so,Hitler could have been arrested,so can be Osama. But in most cases,it is practically impossible. Try your best to charge the govt. for its so-called crimes.Good Luck....we'll see whether u'll succeed or not!

  • @roshan2137 warcrimes means killing civilians ,using banned chemical weapons, bombing in no fire zone,killing/torturing people after surrendering, keeping a huge amount of people with strict limited access to outside world.

  • @roshan2137

The govt had a choice to either arrest the LTTE or kill them, they chose to kill them. So in my view justice has been served for all the atrocities done by the LTTE by the govt taking the law into their hands and killing the LTTE. So really the govt is next in line for war crimes.
