@Amiduffer In the last five years I have had audiences come and go. New people discover you, and others get tired of you. One thing's for sure. Things are always changing... Sometimes it's a pleasant surprise to get a comment from someone I haven't heard from in years... People move on sometimes. I have found that watching many videos and commenting on every one helps quite a bit, and sometimes you just mutually connect with someone and you have a viewer for life.
@fehquig Good points. A 80% of the people I used to dialog with often in the 1st half of my time here have either stopped posting or rarely appear anymore. Part of it is my attitude of sticking with someone if they consistantly make good material and wondering why others don't. If making video's wasn't so damn addictive I could easily rest on my laurels with what I've made so far. I do regret the rather haphazard manner in which I've run this channel. Its been fun though.
@Amiduffer I just watched PappyStu's latest video where he included clips from many YouTubers who have moved on... Although I knew that many were gone, it didn't quite sink in how many were no longer participating in the community until I saw his video. I also find making videos addictive, as you probably guessed... It's my creative outlet. There's not much creating going on at work, so I need to get my fix someplace else, and that someplace is right here, and you're right. It still is fun!
@pestr999 Despite the image of "Uncle Walt" as a simple guy who just wanted to make cute cartoons, his (and the Hollywood system he was used by) intentions were not good and his legacy was destructive.
Hi Drew. Sounds good about the new channel. I'd love to see more of your art-related videos and poems. Have a happy new year. :) Erika

@andrewnorris2 Thanks. I hope to make poetry popular again despite the rotten direction culture has taken all these decades.

I wouldn't call 927,813 video views a failure...

@fehquig A few of my videos still generate consistant views, but overall, having a regular audience has been elusive.

Disney has different ideas on what children can handle. Different culture, different ways of raising children.
