would have been more fun if they had added the MIX IN as though you can record and play with what ever you wanna mix in like music from CD player or MP3 player.

USB connectivity to a computer means it's way better than an MPC for entering beats.
The 30 is a beast, my friends!
You can slave an SPD-S to the phrase looper to control custom samples, instead of having a mix in.

Imean there not much on the SPD 30. all i see is the phase looping feature and that its midi n can connect to the computer.
