The man says a lot about the good things about a rowing design, but regrets to inform the viewer how easy it is to wreck these boats. They break so easily! You crash into one, and it's like paper!

But it's fun to actually see what the shells are actually made of.

That really depends on the hull design actually, I row in a Quantum Racing King series, it has the thicker rigid hull design, unlike the thin and fragile hull you might see with the Vespoli Milleniums

But even then, they can take some beating, they are light and strong enough to the point that if dropped on land, they can just bounce once then come to a rest lol ( as as proven by Miami Area Crew at a regatta)
