never heard of this guy, left it on this site as soon as I heard his opening punch line. I enjoy this style of stand up, where he sets each joke up by introducing a scene , theme or topic etc.he then describes a situation & quickly delivers now by the time this story is registered , like lightening , it hits your stomach resulting a hard laugh, he does this back to back to not giving any time time to recover. He reminds me like a modern version of Mitch Hedberg in a way.

@stalyun82 i agree. no one will ever replace mitch but i think anybody who likes him will like this guy too. It's not really the same style but in some ways its similar. and definitely funny as hell. His bit about counterfeiting canadian quarters is hilarious. there are so many pictures now you literally wouldnt have to copy one, you could make up your own and no one would ever notice. "funny cus its true" type thing.

cont... Jon knows what's funny and how to milk a joke to get the most out of it. He also does this without being crude (a cheap technique to get the 'uncomfortable' laugh). I don't know anything about Jon except these 4 clips but I predict we'll be seeing a lot more of him. Rock on Jon!

I'll try this comment again. Never seen Jon before but I'm an instant fan! I really like his slow deliberate delivery, it gives an audience time to appreciate the joke. Too many comedians rush and lose out on laughs. Plus they have to write so many extra jokes. cont...

jon steinberg is the greatest man ive ever known! In highschool he ran for headboy and wore a flavor flav clock and pimp coat for his entire campaign....He for sure won, but there was a scandal with the principle (he threw away votes causing him to lose)...but man, what a great campaign he ran! You're the man Jon!
