you guys are really good at shooting. u probably have had a lot of practice and that is a good thing. i shoot a bow pretty well myself and i know that its not easy.
That kid makes me proud to be from Iowa! What a Great shot he is. Your a good dad too for taking the time to get him out bowfishing. Was that the Coraville Res you were on?
Thanks buddy- that would be my boy, he was shooting about 30 pounds and for my other half he is shootn about 50 pounds and I shoot about 40. Thanks again for the great comment!!!
wow those kids are beasting those fish ha. and all you people who keep downing these people for shooting the fish well be smart and dont look up these vids duh. and i bet everyone of yal has never picked up a bow and understand how challenging they are so how bout you leave you negative comments to yourself.
yup muzzy and ams make a great arrow combo for 14 dollars with the safty slike which i would strongly suggest and they just pound the carp and suckers
well do you even know how bad it is there are no natural predators especially in the northern part of the US there are no gators and stuff like that up here in wisconsin to kill them except musky but once they get to 3lbs the carp are off scott free then
talk to local fisherman and check with the DNR for season dates most rivers i know the st croix and miss have carp and other rough fish or just look for some small back water ponds more times then not they will have some carp or suckers in them most of our honey holes are just farm ponds and backwater flats on rivers
hey i just orderd a bow about a week ago and can sumone tell me about how many arrows will i need to have with me at all times?do they break often and do u lose them often?
You will need to get a bowfishing rig and 2 bowfishing arrows. We take a few just in case something would happen to one. But they are pretty strong. When they are tide to your fishing rig you dont lose them much but it happens or you might break the nock so just have a back up.
Hello to you -You will need some kind of fishing license that is all we need here in the states. I am not sure what the laws are in Germany so just give you local fish and game a call and ask what you may need. Good luck and have fun!! I thought your english was pretty good... And THANKS for watching we hope you enjoyed it.
Ya- it ok you could turn it down, cause if are shooting fingers and really get into the fish by the time you are done your fingers will hurt. My son shot so much that day and his little fingers hurt by the time we were done. Have a good time!! and if you get into the fish and shoot some come back and make sure you leave a comment we would like to know how it went with ya. GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND HAVE FUN with it!!!
FUcking sick motherfuckers!!! why you do that to the carps!! those are beatiful fish and ur just killin' them!! and how dare you to teach that to your son.. [psyco maniak..
Didnt your mama ever teach you any manners. Language buddy- Kids watch this stuff and your not setting a good example by cussing, someone should wash your mouth out with soap!!! You dont like? Well have a nice day.You should check out some of my other videos youll really like them!!!
Just aim a little low. Try to put something like a leaf in the water and pratice at shooting at it. Just give it some time and a little pratice and you will get it!!!
Thanks for posting such a great video. I took up bowfishing last year and cant wait to go again this year. Anyway nice shooting guys, epecially that shot Austin made on his first fish.
Thanks - we had a great couple of days last year with all of the flooding we had here in Iowa!! We cant wait until this spring to give it another shot !!! And thanks for watching and the nice comment!!!

Id like to get some bow fishin in this summer before i go to afghanistan. If you could give me some advice that would be great.
We were on the Des Moines river, and for your fishing gear you could look up a local archery shop and they should have something that will work for ya. Good luck to ya bowfishing and we THANK-YOU for all you do and are doing for are country!! And thank-you for the comment!
