@ifygideon32 buy a Canon - PowerShot ELPH 300 HS. It is now the slimmest camera available on the market and costs less. plus it has better picture quality (12.1mega-pixels) plus it shoots video in 1080p at 24 fps, not mentioning how sexy it looks

you can set it to sleep at minute incriments and to shut off at the same. and the battery is easy to remove. next to the sd card. nice camera

its very easy to take out the battery.there's jus something that holds it in,u push it back and the battery pops out :)

dont buy this fucking piece of shit! i bought one stupidly and the only way you can charge the battery is by taking it out, which is a PAIN IN THE ASS. steer clear!

next to the edge of the battery and edge of camera there is a grey tab that slide over to hold it secure. lide it and the battery pops out. its one of those things that you smack you self for after you see how easy it is. i like mine so far.

Yes, I got it to open now. What happened was there is this section on the camera that looks like a small (switch or lever) that I thought would open the battery. It does not move what so ever. I don't know why they put it there but I almost broke it off. LOL
