If we went to war with Israel it wouldn't be hard because we could adopt a policy of offshore balancing. Most of the world hates Israel and would love to do our bidding. We could send money and weapons to Iran and Syria and lebanon etc. and they would gladly take out that bandit state for us. We wouldn't have to sacrifice one american soldier. The only risk of this operation is that we might lose a city via israeli nukes. Mainly because the Israelis are deep in every single government agency.
