tos2 is not even a mothership title. no wonder it wasn't that good. no overlimit so you can beat any boss with an infinite combo. stupid! and lloyd and the gang are useless at lv50.

Technically, it would actually be a new mystic arte, though extremely similar. Falcon's Crest was performed with Lloyd using the power of the Eternal Blade, which is split between his Material Blades of Flamberge (Kratos' sword) and Vorpal (Dirk's gift). Since Lloyd left the Flamberge at his mother's grave at Dirk's house, and instead took up the more rapier-like Gagnrad blades (incidentally also a fire/ice combo), you end up with a different source of power, thus a different Mystic Arte.

well at first i hated the level cap but think about it makes the game challenging i have been doing mania mode and because of the 2x exp i purposely would fight with the other characters still besides you can use herbs to intentionally raise their stats

Honestly, Lloyd was WAY better combowise than in the first one. He could pull off infinite combos, his Mystic arte has HUGE range and can heal, and is one of the most powerful frontline fighters on your team. But.. he didnt get a good 50% or more of his artes from the first game, cant use his artes in midair, Cant chain aerial artes from Sword Rain Alpha, and comboing with Lloyd in this game just isnt the same as in tos =( 100 hit combos arent hard in this, but in tos, it was a nice achievement.

...Have you even completed the game? you can play with LLyod when you have to rescue Zelo´s syster. Then when you are about to complete the game you get Llyod as a party member.

Holy crap the Tales games have seriously gotten a lot more fast paced since the first Symphonia game

how can lloyd use that long a combo? the most i can get in a combo chain in the first game with lloyd is a level 1 and then a level 2 skill, what's the secret here

You could do ok combo in symphonia 1 too...

Level 1 + Level 1 + Level 2 + Level 3

If your level 3 was Twin tiger blade, you could get the enemy standing with demon fang

and the was also spell cancel with Zelos/Kratos or sheena that could make you combo a little

Man, I just found out today that it's not Robin from Teen Titans voice... and well, it seriously makes me not want to play the game. And actually, I agree with liking the characters in the first game better. T^T Lloyd's my favorite hero, and I thought the English dub was like, REALLY great with their choices and now it's like, man, Lloyd sounds like... (I'm sorry Lloyd's new voice actor and those that like his new voice)... he sounds like... just some guy...

In ToS:DotNW, either Emil or Marta must be in the first player. You can just switch to them in mid battle.

he doesnt hav his s type moves and his sword rain alpha can't link with his ragin tiger blade...and he does hav sky attak for his rising falcon after using sword rain alpha :(

Agreed. Overlimit might not be here for the playable cast, but Accelerate makes this game cheap. Like you demonstrated with this ability, its not just Lloyd, but Emil as well. Of course you didn't really show this (for physical attack, not spells), but Marta is up in there as well. She has both Speed Casts and Acceleration. Just broken abilities >.>

you need a skill called "accelerate". it basically cancels your lag so you can set up an infinte combo or makes your attacks perfect for spam; with accelerate you can "havoc strike" all day... i think 2 weapons have accelerate "echo tracer" and "nether traitor", not sure about the last one.

Namco changed it to Divine Justice because Falcon's Crest is only able to be used with the Eternal Blade. Divine Justice is a replacement where he combines the two cursed swords he wields into one energy sword, similar to the Eternal Blade comprising of the two Fire & Ice Blades.

Dorr says, "Stop acting like your justice is absolute" (or something like that) and Lloyd responds, "Where do you get off? Don't even start spewing the word "justice"! I hate that word! You're a worthless jerk who couldn't give up his social status, even for his own wife!"
