People are entitled to their opinion. And you are entitled to your opinion. But I think it is fair to say that the public and the critics and musicians all over the world would say that you are not in the majority. Paul is very special to musicians and composers.
HEY DUDE,ha,ha,ha, it looks like the youtube community don't agree with you>>>>if you are gonna diss someone I think you should pick someone who is not as loved and respected as the worlds greatest living composer.
Paul sold out the CITI Fields stadium in New York in July for 3 nights in a row. Only Jackson would have matched those sales. And the cirtics all said that his new material from the Fireman and Memory Almost Full was as well loved as his Beatles and Wings classics.
I dont know if you noticed, but in September the Beatles dominated the worlds charts. They had 17 albums in the UK top 75 in one week with 3 in the top 10. They took 9 of the Canadian top 10 places and totally dominated the American, Japanese, Australian and European charts. Paul is very loved by millions of people from all generations. And the reason is due to his incredible writing. From Beatles to solo he is still popular and respected.

Dont wanna say this again.
I AM A MASSIVE BEATLES FAN.
As a band i have no problem with the beatles.
I love every album, every song. EVERYTHING.
I dont like paul Mccartney.
I am more than aware of how popular the beatles where and what they did for music and that if not for them many many many musicians wouldnt have been inspired and many things would have gone unwritten.
Your completely missing my opinion that im getting across.
When I go to a concert I like to know that the musican I see can play all his instruments, do all his singing and compose all his songs. Paul delivers this. He is not a modern lip synching arse. He is old school. A real talent. And I love his solo work, form Band On The Run to Live And Let Die. From Maybe Im Amazed to the Fireman album. He is superb.
The public love Paul McCartney. That is a fact, proven by his continual million selling albums and sold out concerts. The critics love him, proven by his grammy nominations etc. Historians agree on his iconic status. But what is most important is that musicians all over the planet and from all generations view him as their greatest influence. It is impossible to diss him with any credibility. You don't have to like him, but then again, not everyone likes Jesus.
im tired of repeating myself so please if anyone else wants to tell me im wrong or whatever keep it to yourself cos frankly im sick of pausing this video every time

@toysindahood i agree with you mate. Macca is a bell end. He so cheesy and embarrasing its painful. Im not a beatles fan, but i respect what they acheived, but hes nowhere near as talented as george or john. His solo carear is gash, and people only go to his shows to seeh im do beatles songs. Only the die hard "must collect everything beatles" fans buys his records these days. He hasnt written 1 song since the beatles that changed the world or would make an impact on it in time to come.
@toysindahood His reaction to Johns death was a disgrace, selling the rights to the beatles songs, wanting after all these years to change the order in which the song credits are given (lennon & mccartney) to mccartney & lennon.
I dont hate the guy like i want something bad to happen to him, thats sick, just think the guy is a complete cock.
he will never be as good as john lennon
ALL THE PEOPLE AT THE BACK NOW.. give it a rest macca!
'his reaction to john's death was a disgrace' - shows how little you know mate, if you're just going on that 'its a drag' comment, he himself regretted it, but cut him some slack, just imagine the total shock of hearing how the man who had undoubtedly made the biggest impression on his life was murdered; listen to the song 'here today' and you'll understand how much john meant to him. Oh yeah, and 'his solo career is gash' - thats why he is the most successful songwriter of all time buddy :)
It seems that the thumbs down to your comments about Sir Paul shows that you are in the minority. Sir Paul is the greatest living compose of our time and as Bono said at last years EMA awards, in 200 years time everyone will be forgotten, but not Sir Paul. His music and influence is that great.
I have seen Sir Paul in concert and I have seen how he dedicates part of his show to his old friend John. You are trying to make something out of Pauls comment when he had just heard his best friend was murdered. Shame on you. As for the songs, Paul did not sell them. John made a mistake with Alan Klein. It is obvious you do not know your Beatles history. Paul is a legend.
What is your problem with Paul Mccartney. Almost 50 years after his first hit he is still making critically acclaimed, grammy winning and million selling albums. There are no cheesy songs on his 2000's albums, but yeah, back in about 1983 yo 84 he did go very commercial. Since then he has got back in his stride. Hes the best.
Waht are you talking about???? How many cheesy songs were on Pauls Chaos and Creation album in 2005 whish was produced by the man behind Radiohead??? None. It was even nominated for a grammy as best album. And as for Memeory Almost Full, that was compared to his best work ever. And don't get me started on the Forman, the best fucking rock album this decade. Cheesy?? What you on???
oi mate...i see Robbis is on every tv show n radio spot he can get to sell his new album. And he has quite a record at being a publicity whore. But Paul??? its rare to see him being interviewed on tv and very rare to see him in concert. Hes a legend mate n he will still be loved hundreds of years from now.
Wow! Can't wait to watch the whole show when its televised next week! Snow Patrol dueting with Cheryl Cole-bet that was good-love Snow Patrol! And Paolo Nutini & Mika!!! Awesome gig!
lol at James Cordon & Chris Moyles nicking Sir Paul's seat at the piano!
Dudes, i'm American and don't really know anything bout your Take That guys, but Sir Paul McCartney, man I just gotta say what a great night for you Brits. The Beatles are still the most popular band in America and I guess they always will be.
USAbornin1990. Gary Barlow (the blonde guy to the left of Sir Paul) is a member of Take That ... and its Gary who organised this concert. Sir Paul was the first person he contacted to appear ... he figured if you get the 'BEST' the others will follow. Looked like a fabulous concert! Take That are HUGE fans of The Beatles!
Robbie should come back! The documentary was fully staged just to let you know. Also he has always wanted to re-unite since the 'feud' has ended...but knew there would be people who see it like'rudebox failed, now he's had to get up with these' which isn't true. Plus it still went to number one! Love you Robbie <3
I bougth a Paul McCartney ticket for the O2 at Xmas. It cost me over £1000.00 for a front seat but it will be worth it to see a Beatle live in concert.
I am so old I saw The Beatles live,1963.. but am a massive Robbie and TT fan and was so happy to see them all together in whatever form it may take. There is room for TT the foursome, Rob the soloist and all 5 together, awsome!
How dare you say, you are old. You saw The Beatles live. You are forever young (as you proof) and you are probably even immortal. You'll see. Oh dear, how much I envy you. I once saw RW in a club with 300 people in Switzeland, between TT and the lifting off of the solo carrier. But you saw the Beatles. Good God! Greetings from Zurich.
aww what a true gentleman Mika is, at 3:48 he beckons to Leona to come to the front and stand by him so she isn't stuck at the back, then he shares his Microphone wiht her.
Great camera and fab footage, must have been awesme. x
PS. Robbie please go away and don't rejoin Take That! You are better as a solo artist and besides, you weren't interested in any reunion stuff at the begining, even in documentaries in 05. Why now?!?!?! TT are better as a foursome anyway x
Perhaps the 80 million pound contract with EMI had something to do with Robbie not participating!!!That is now almost fullfilled and he will be free to choose..like I said..let's have it all ways...TT the foursome..Rob the soloist and joint ventures as well...call me greedy???why not!
This must be the best camera recorded clip on youtube I have ever came across!! Usually I switch off from the youtube clip in seconds, but not this one! Good job. You must have had either really great seats or a really great camera! Or both, lol!
The seats were some of the cheaper ones but was lucky to be dead centre where the sound was almost perfect. Being in the front row I could rest the camera on the ledge and still enjoy the concert while filming.
Paul says: what r u doing guys???...get out of my piano!!! :D haahaha

Im not telling you not to like it before you try to twist that one back on me, like i said im voicing my opinion and your all getting up in arms because you dont like it.
toysindahood 2 years ago
People are entitled to their opinion. And you are entitled to your opinion. But I think it is fair to say that the public and the critics and musicians all over the world would say that you are not in the majority. Paul is very special to musicians and composers.

HEY DUDE,ha,ha,ha, it looks like the youtube community don't agree with you>>>>if you are gonna diss someone I think you should pick someone who is not as loved and respected as the worlds greatest living composer.

In my opinion - Pauls the greatest.

Paul sold out the CITI Fields stadium in New York in July for 3 nights in a row. Only Jackson would have matched those sales. And the cirtics all said that his new material from the Fireman and Memory Almost Full was as well loved as his Beatles and Wings classics.
Thoughtsrandom 2 years ago 3

That i dont like his music and his actions.
toysindahood 2 years ago
When I go to a concert I like to know that the musican I see can play all his instruments, do all his singing and compose all his songs. Paul delivers this. He is not a modern lip synching arse. He is old school. A real talent. And I love his solo work, form Band On The Run to Live And Let Die. From Maybe Im Amazed to the Fireman album. He is superb.
TheSalterSalt 2 years ago 4
The public love Paul McCartney. That is a fact, proven by his continual million selling albums and sold out concerts. The critics love him, proven by his grammy nominations etc. Historians agree on his iconic status. But what is most important is that musicians all over the planet and from all generations view him as their greatest influence. It is impossible to diss him with any credibility. You don't have to like him, but then again, not everyone likes Jesus.

ALL THE PEOPLE AT THE BACK NOW.. give it a rest macca!
zoso11 2 years ago

Drunkasaskunkis 2 years ago 3
I have seen Sir Paul in concert and I have seen how he dedicates part of his show to his old friend John. You are trying to make something out of Pauls comment when he had just heard his best friend was murdered. Shame on you. As for the songs, Paul did not sell them. John made a mistake with Alan Klein. It is obvious you do not know your Beatles history. Paul is a legend.
Fantastictrip 2 years ago
What is your problem with Paul Mccartney. Almost 50 years after his first hit he is still making critically acclaimed, grammy winning and million selling albums. There are no cheesy songs on his 2000's albums, but yeah, back in about 1983 yo 84 he did go very commercial. Since then he has got back in his stride. Hes the best.
Hotlips4UandU 2 years ago
He's a famous ass person man and anyone who would dare to slate him would be met with hostility regardless. Wether their points were valid or not.
As you all are proving here.
He is idolised and people defend him blindly. I'm voicing my opinion and im being called a moron.
I haven't said anything malicious to any of you bar that one person who thought flaunting the title SIR would get his point across.
Get out of pauls ass the lot of you he aint gonna read this and give you all medals
toysindahood 2 years ago

Dudes, i'm American and don't really know anything bout your Take That guys, but Sir Paul McCartney, man I just gotta say what a great night for you Brits. The Beatles are still the most popular band in America and I guess they always will be.
USAbornin1990 2 years ago 3

Icecoldbaby22 2 years ago
I am so old I saw The Beatles live,1963.. but am a massive Robbie and TT fan and was so happy to see them all together in whatever form it may take. There is room for TT the foursome, Rob the soloist and all 5 together, awsome!
uanad80 2 years ago
How dare you say, you are old. You saw The Beatles live. You are forever young (as you proof) and you are probably even immortal. You'll see. Oh dear, how much I envy you. I once saw RW in a club with 300 people in Switzeland, between TT and the lifting off of the solo carrier. But you saw the Beatles. Good God! Greetings from Zurich.

PS. Robbie please go away and don't rejoin Take That! You are better as a solo artist and besides, you weren't interested in any reunion stuff at the begining, even in documentaries in 05. Why now?!?!?! TT are better as a foursome anyway x
samisspink 2 years ago 2
Perhaps the 80 million pound contract with EMI had something to do with Robbie not participating!!!That is now almost fullfilled and he will be free to choose..like I said..let's have it all ways...TT the foursome..Rob the soloist and joint ventures as well...call me greedy???why not!

This must be the best camera recorded clip on youtube I have ever came across!! Usually I switch off from the youtube clip in seconds, but not this one! Good job. You must have had either really great seats or a really great camera! Or both, lol!
Howard looks very very fit in a suit!!!
Thanks for sharing x
samisspink 2 years ago 4
The seats were some of the cheaper ones but was lucky to be dead centre where the sound was almost perfect. Being in the front row I could rest the camera on the ledge and still enjoy the concert while filming.
