For me it's always between Photosynthesis and Welcome to Hell for favorite videos. W2H usually edges out for being straight epic but Photo is such a beautiful video and Dills part is the cherry on top.

The trick variety is unlike the parts today. Not your standard tricks. All of his lines are original and every part is different. Great to see such variety and creative skating in a day of robotic style handrail stuntmen. (not that handrails are cool to watch and do, just everyone now a days is just hucking their carcass off the biggest shit, and doing the same 7 tricks down handrails) The WTF foundation video is all rails. This is a GREAT part. Dill keeps it refreshing to watch.

Obviously that is for entertainment but lets face it he doesn't really come across as being'alert' and aware of things, apart from when skating!

Great to see this on-line! Wow, to think that this was 11 years ago...how time passes. I was fortunate enough to be working for AWS at the time and was present for some of the shooting for Dill's segment. We got some really good footage and as you can see by the editing, AWS was really open to artistic input from everyone and this was the result. After 11 years, it still holds up and I don't think that many other videos can even begin to hold a candle to the old AWS VHS jobs of the mid-late 90s.

Photosynthesis was my first skate movie and was totally mind-blowing.

Especially this part of Jason's skating and music always reminds me the moment first time stepped on my deck.

I still have a copy of it, but youtube is so convinient to watch before skate.
