Man I don't why you got dislikes. Chris uses two amps, the one for the effects and the other clean(you can clearly hear them bith especially in the solo).
great playing but alot of your notes sound really off man....please make sure your bass is in tune before recording and such...otherwise I know you're playin the correct notes but they're just not in perfect tune

for the final question, what do you think of the pickup position on the stingray, is it too close to the bridge? I've played it a few times, but never long enough to get frustrated at the taughtness/spacing of the strings closer to the bridge. I'm considering getting one and I wouldn't want to get one and then be dissatisfied with its pickup positioning. Now its down to that and the jazz bass.

to answer your question i have a mm stingray and its absolutely amazing. the tone/eq options and overall feel of the bass is excellent
