I have dealt with anxiety for 6-7 yrs. and yes ive opened the door to the enemy many times mainly to medicate the pain.I was just about to entertain medication, but now I'm thinking twice. This is an idea I've been struggling with as a student nurse. I don't know if what you say is correct, because I've seen people come back to where I was working who had schizophrenia or bipolar or schizoid disorders, who went off of their meds when they left. Their symptoms came back. Some of these people are dangerous without medications to themselves and others. I've seen medications help and harm.how am I supposed to believe all medications are horrible and useless when I've SEEN them work.

The reason why people are getting back on them, is because they are not filled with Gods spirit, they need to be born again, they need to submit their lives to JESUS and He will renew their mind and give them a new heart. I am super faithful and believe in the joy of the Lord and right now I am on anti depressants and they have worked wonders for me and keeping connected with God. And He said too that I wont be on them forever and he'll let me know when I am ready to go off them. I was demon possessed when I was a little kid... obviously I hadn't realised it at the time... but it's quite obvious now. There were times where I would go ballistic! I would run away from home, I would self harm, contemplate suicide etc... it was pretty bad!

Before, I had to deal with bullying in school, my Dad rejecting me, being beat up by kids at my school every day, my Mom putting so much pressure on me, I couldn't take it... 4 months ago... Hello Jacki79, I love your prayer. I love your carefull voice for the broken & psychial people. I love your ending, that Jesus can Heal people & make them free, from The devil, illness, pains, medication. But the introduction is almost, I repeat almost a shame to Christianity. However, My family would totally not support me in stopping my medication. My dad is bipolar and is convinced that he needs to be taking meds too.
