  • Damn! I wish I could play at that age!!

  • Thank you for all the comments, Bobby

  • JIMI would be Proud Bobby, Bravo!! Excellent!! Keep Playing Brother!!

  • Yea, and I bet 5 years from now when he watches the vid where Buddy Guy offers him an open invitation to play whenever he comes to town he is gonaa think he sucked too. Why don't you get out of your moms basement and find someplace else to troll.

  • so discouraging hahahah

  • lol.. I didn't learn how to do notebends until I was like 18 . this kid is gonna be amazing when he gets older

  • @1Guug when you brought home a finger painting from when you were younger, did people say it sucked! WTF dude!, Bobby is not a professional musician, He will not say that he sucks 5 years from now revisiting this video, he may laugh! or say wow I've sure come along way in guitar,

You should not ever mock or say to anyone that they suck especially if its a young kid 11 at the time when he recorded this. you must have had it tough growing up!

  • Ok he is 11 years old and it is cool that he play guitar and somdey he could get really good. But I can't understand why parents post something like this. If he looks at this in 5-10 years, he will realise that he sucked. little wing is not that hard to play (but hard to feel!) you could probebly play this after 2 years. Bobby did a lot of mistakes here + the feeling wasn't really good (but he will get it!). Not trying to be mean just talking...

  • @1Guug Rly? Dude, his friggin 11. He needs to grow up a little and gain confidence, strenght in his hands and fingers... I am blown away by how good Bobby is FOR HIS AGE. He just needs more experience.

  • @1Guug Check out his new videos like dazed and confused

  • Amazing!

  • Your awesome little dude!! wow.. let's jam sometime

  • i hope you and T-man hook up and start cooking some new music that we old folks like me so desperately need...the music world right now sucks so bad its not even funny...keep playin dude and good luck to you bro

  • Good Job!

  • Hey Bobby, You did an AWESOME job..can't wait til I can jam with u someday..It will b an honor.

    PeacE!

    Tallan

  • @TManLatz Hey Tallan, thank you so much and we should totally jam somday. I would be honored youre a great guitarist. Call me 203 223-2927 Thanks man, Bobby Paltauf

  • WTF? people arguing over what guitar would sound better???? Fuck this dude can play, give him a cheap arse peice of shit from K-mart an it'll sound better than the average guitarist.....? I'm impressed. How long have you been playing for? Cant imagine how cool this kid will be if he sticks with it. I learnt late, well done all round..

  • @frontlinecustom Thanks man, I been playing for about 4 years. Bobby

  • Great job man, love it!

  • I think its funny with all these comments of who is better or worse. I will compare you to no one except you--Bobby Paltauf ... and you Bobby are one heck of a young guitarist. One who loves to play and spends many hours practicing his craft. Thanks for sharing your exceptional talent with us. Much respect and such good vibes.

    Josh

  • u can hear the character of the strat.....if he would play that on a bassmann or de ville it would much better

  • @riquelme64 I just got a blues deluxe and have made this song sound soooo much better. Please check my new versions out. Thank you

  • Is that a fender frontman 2x12? And what kind of pick ups are in the strat?

  • @mattownsu95 Its a frontman 212r and the pickups are texas specials

  • i tell u now this kid is talent

his timing is near genius ,,, and for me its about timing anyone can bang a chord out but this lad is a defo future protege

respeck to his mom and dad for helping him nurture his natural talent

  • i wish my parents would have introduced me to music earlier. you're very fortunate :)

  • Great !!

  • very good!

  • Great. You might want to listen to something the number 18 Rolling Stone Mag guitarist of all time said about playing when he was 18 or 19. It is insightful. You may be destined for great things. "John Frusciante falando sobre Jimi Hendrix em 1990" is the title of the YouTube piece. The end is too raw, so Dad cut it off. And, yeah, you are better than TL, not that it matters.

  • i just listened/looked at this video and wow it was great dude. i'm guessing someone in your family has the ability to play drums since i saw the set in the background. one word of advice young man never compare yourself to anyone or let anyone compare themselves to you. you are truely unique and i look foreward to seeing the rest of your posts

  • Thank you! For the nice comment, I would like to meet Talon Latz, I'm sure I will some day.

  • i love the set up man keep playin

  • Can't wait to see this kid grow as a player, I'd say him and Tallan should play together sometime!

  • 2 suckers cant deal with thier envy...

  • Class act in formation. Keep swinging that there axe Bobby.

  • no way, kid's got on emerica hsu's? i got the same shoe haha

  • u frickn' rock dude!!

  • @Ottoman828 Thank you Bobby

  • @Ottoman828

Thank you for the nice words! if you can, send this video to "all you know" so we can try to reach someone that may be able to help get me noticed!

  • check out my new videos

  • tallen lantz kicks this kids ass...but keep on ticking....(I suck compared to any of themm)

  • @jimmyt55 if you actually take them side by side in sound, you will find yourself steping back and reconsidering your statement.

  • @jimmyt55

if you actually take Tallens and Bobby's guitar playing, side by side in sound and note for note, you will find yourself steping back and reconsidering your comment.

  • I recognize your technique, your right hand is better than most, but the lef leans a bit on the guitar, limiting range and speed, and you're getting some of that extra sound in between and at the start/ends of phrases, make your hand flatter, angle from the wrist, as opposed to the knuckle, and try to use a little more of the pinky, I used to have this EXACT same problem, except you have far better right hand technique than I did at the time, so adjustment of the left she come far easier

  • check out quinn sulivan little wing 2010 Good job young man.

  • Got a tone most players twice his age would be jealous of!

  • Never heard of either of these kids before tonight, but I'll throw my unsolicited two cents in anyway.

Latz is a virtuoso. A reincarnation. This kid is someone who has worked really, really hard. Latz plays effortlessly, without thinking.

Maturity will be what separates the great from the "flash in the pan". Latz plays like he had too many sodas and pop-rocks before the gig. He's "wanky". Will he calm down & develop some feel with age?

Bobby = tons of potential, needs to get comfortable.

  • Robert!! How did you get so many views!! this is amazing!! it's like a blinked and your famous!

  • Dayyuuummnn!!!! this is mt favorite Hendrix song, and this kid did it more than justice!!!:) you kick justin bieber's ass little man!!! keep the music alive!!!

  • Nice to see Bobby doesn't max out his overdrive like so many other 'tubers feel they need to... You'll do fine, kid.

  • Um yeah, if he ever needs a bassist call me... I wanna be in a national touring band!

  • This kid is much better than that Tallan Latz kid. He's not sloppy and has good tone. Something people cant seem to notice in the Latz kid.

  • @rvollin1935 Thanks for the nice comment.

  • Both Bobby and Tallan are great and will only get better with age. It is not a race. Tallan just got lucky cuz he got the big break first. Any musician worth any weight will tell you that there are awesome players with tons of skill that will never make it big time. Remember it wasn't until recent years that these kids even had any chance of being discovered nationally. Homegrown artist now have a chance show the world that they too can play as good as the big dogs.

  • @rvollin1935 thats a crazy comment to make man, this little guy is good.....ok! but tallan has charisma the amazing guitar playing and he can sing. he is a huge future star of the blues. go on tallan!!!

  • @jonthedonable i'm pretty sure you have no idea what your talking about.

  • @ashleydoodle100 im pretty sure u have no idea what u are talking about!!!! lol have u ever watched tallan latz now, in 2011. that kid has it all, this kid has good guitar playing. thats it. tallan sounds great and id pay to watch him

  • @jonthedonable well, I'd pay to have you stop commenting. why cant you see that both kids have talent. but bobby is in a league of his own. tallan may have a lot of money, or some great networks, but bobby is just doing it because its in his blood. and i think you can take your comments and shove them where the sun doesn't shine, because if you can't show support, then don't say anything at all. it makes you sound like a real jerk to dis a kid.

  • @ashleydoodle100 yeah id pay for u to get a grip and realise this kid has nothing other than good guitar playing, its nothing to do with tallon being rich or whatever, my point is tallon is famous more because he plays amazing and doesnt just stand like a dummy, he has charisma, and a charm about him. and where did i put this kid down?? i admit the little guy is great, but u are the one who said he was better than tallon not me. and u honesty telling me tallon doesnt play with feeling???? lol

  • @ashleydoodle100 u saying i am not showing support u are a fool,go back and read our chat! i actually said this little guy is good, i only argued the fact he is not better than tallon latz. u made that comment first. so i said that tallon is better and explained the reason why. sounds like u are pissed cos ive made u look stupid.i never put this kid down once and support anyone playing guitar. this kid is GOOD but he aint no future star!! im a huge blues fan and tallon latz is amazing,

  • @jonthedonable Why would anyone even bring all this negativity to a kids video. He's good, who cares about the rest . Let time tell what kind a future he'll have

  • @jeromebetts i never brought any negativity to this kid, i simply replied to the comment at the top of the page which says "this kid is way better than tallan latz" which is just not true. i agree this kid is good. hes better than i am and i been playing 4 years. im not putting the kid down. just saying that he is not better than Talan Latz.

  • @rvollin1935 you're kidding right... have you seen Latz playig voodoo child with BBKing? The word epic, springs to mind!!! This kid's good, but he's lightyears away from Tallan still!

  • @rvollin1935 I like 'em both

  • @rvollin1935 I wouldn't say that. This kid is great, but Tallan is a performer already and has a LOT of skill. Not only can he play, he's got such great feel for the blues and brings it out in his playing. Also, anything that might sound sloppy about his playing would be because he uses distortion as opposed to a clean tone. lol, just wouldn't be so hasty. this kid is great though.

  • @mWIN95 no Tallan does play sloppy!! I have been playing guitar for 18 years and i cannot listen to Tallan play for long, it grates me. He never sustains a note, plays out of time and is so over the top in his performance. This kid understands humility and in my opinion feels the music alot more than Tallan, he also knows how to bend to the right pitch. So i wouldnt be so hasty as to talk up Tallans talent, he is good for his age, but can definetly improve in many areas.

  • @divitmusic Man, why you gotta say one is better than the other? 18 years of playing, I think you should understand then that there's more to playing than 'better or worse.' Don't compare them as professionals, because that, they are not. It's not a competition, it's an art, and these kids are both crazy good, hopefully one day amazing. I don't see why anyone has to put one down to say the other is good.

  • @rvollin1935

sorry dude but no comparison. Nothing against this kid - he did a very nice job here but Latz is dripping with emotion - he's got a 60 year old black man inside him. He doesnt think, he just plays. Music flows through him.

  • @rvollin1935 No doubt! As a guitar teacher, I could work with his sound much better than Tallan's; his (Tallan's) is way too choppy for my liking.

  • @kc8ntp very kind words to say the least, could always use advice/lessons what is youre location and experience ? Thanks!

  • @originalwerks1 I have been a pianist for nearly 30yrs, a guitarist for 27yrs, and my main instrument is the bass, which I have played for 25yrs. I live north of Las Vegas, NV. I have not had too much time to even play for the past year, but getting back into it. I really need to get some videos posted on youtube. My main genre is the blues, but I also play a lot of funk and metal, too. I play the guitar a lot to keep in practice, but my favorite instrument is the 6-string fretless bass.
