  • Very nice video quality...easy to understand! I'm really curious about what this tastes like...and if I'm not mistaken did she say it contained protein?if so-Thats awesome...

  • Interesting combination of ingredients. Can you use apple cider vinegar? Where do you get the gallon jugs? Does Meijers have them?

Also, **Would be wonderful if you would do a video on how to make the detox formula?

  • Can you post a list of ingredients and how much of what is needed for one gal.

  • Wow for all of us never knew how to use the extra egg plants up this is great! I cannot wait to see more from you.

  • Hey Nancy, are you tossing the cut offs in the trash, or is that the compost bin? I hope!

This is Chuck, enjoyed your vid, miss you! hope all is well with you and yours!!!

    God Bless!

  • I must admit to never eating eggplant.

This is good information to get out though. Thank you Nancy.

  • oooo please make more!

  • I liked it so much I had my wife watch and she liked it too. This sure beats using a power consuming fridge for storage and you won't gag on it like you might eating jerky.

Please make more videos like this.

  • How is this food item served? With what is it eaten?

  • This is served as a side dish with any Italian meal. It is used as a relish item such as pickles, Kim she, or pickled peppers. Can be eaten as a snack or can be used as a meat substitute in a sandwich. Very good for helping to treat colds etc. Garlic, peppers, mint and pickling salt. Very good combo. :) NDK

  • PS..Mark, you gotta remodel that kitchen Bro......DTNWO

  • It is the room that we are remodeling. :) But the kitchen still has to be used. It is crowded with food prep for the berry and vegs season. MGK/GDW!

Nancy has several more vids almost ready to post.

  • Thanks Nancy, you married a good man and raised good men. Like Mark said you ladies are the sandpaper that keeps us corn cobs sane. Love ya bring back Kitchen Militia Show...DTNWO, we shall prexail

  • Sounds good - grasshoppers got my eggplants and most everything else. Anti-goobermint egg plants whoda thunk et.

  • Another question... where is a good place to buy these jars. I went out to Kroger here and they didn't have a gallon size jar.

  • Go to your local Buffet or Restaurant and ask the manager if he has any glass one gallon jars that they get cherries, pickles or and other product in. If you have a school in your area such as college, high school or any that have a kitchen or kitchens and check there. Check the glass recycling places to see if they gat anything there that may be useful. Ask them to save the lids. most of the new ones have plastic lids.

  • This was such a big help for me. Thank you Nancy! Is there a site with a lot of these kinds of recipies or a book that you would recommend? I would love to have tons of different foods.

    Thanks again.

    5 Stars!

  • Thanks for the info Nancy! & Ed Tanks for being the camera man!

  • wow... nice video. my eggplants are no larger than 9" . Those are ginormous eggplants... they must be from grocery store... hybrids or genetically engineered????

  • Would like to see more like this. My wife and I would like to start canning but not sure how to do it.

  • Awesome!!

  • This is great thanks!

  • So, each layer is repeated? Eggplant, garlic, jalapeno, mint, salt, then repeat? Does the eggplant get mushy? That's what hubby does not like about eggplant.

  • And how long until it's ready to eat?

  • Yes Each Layer Is Repeated it will be ready in 2 weeks Nancy dose say that in the video

  • Sorry I missed that ... was trying to listen to Mark and Nancy at the same time. :)

  • cool. only 1 tablespoon of salt tho for the whole gallon?

  • No one per Layer

  • Wow that really stretches out your food supply. How many slices of eggplant do you figure are in it? 100? That would be 100 eggplant sandwiches, you could eat lunch for 3 months off a couple of eggplants.
