In my view, it is important to remember that Police ARE NOT OUR Police force. They are the Establishments FORCE.The Police although some might enjoy it, are given ORDERS and they carry them out otherwise they can themselves be prosecuted for insubordination.Saying the POLICE are part of the 1% is inaccurate.The People and the Police are in this situation BECAUSE of the FAILURE of the so called POLITICAL REPRESENTATION NOT representing THE PEOPLE. Really, a whole mop of cops in riot gear because there were people in the park beyond dusk? Come on city officials, you can't possibly think this is the way you should be spending the city's money. Police and their weapons are for violent criminals, not peaceful protesters.

@TheReasonWhyGuy I agree with you to an extent, but I know there are truly evil people that exist and will hurt you or kill you at the drop of a hat or to take what you have. But you are correct, that the majority of crimes aren't really crimes at all, because they create no victim. But I do think that irrational violent people should be taken off the streets and out of society. These protesters do no fall into that category.

non-violence contrapposes morality against brutality. 53% of non-violent revolutions succeed, vs. only 21% of violent ones. In addition, it is my firm opinion that a rEvolution that is based on violence objectively does not lead to a peaceful society. Currently we do not have a lot of time for experimentation with yet another violent and abusive society that exploits the base of the pyramid and all the world resources.
